Perfect place for our retreat

I planned a retreat with friends for the weekend, and this was the perfect location even during the off season. Jim was a great host and responded quickly whenever we had questions. Great experience for everyone!

Great property, communicative owner

Great property for our large (20 people) family. Many well furnished bedrooms. Great rooms for children on 3rd floor. Close to attractions (walkable to some). Wonderful restaurants in the area. The owner is most helpful and had really good suggestions for us, We stayed here for 3 days after Christmas 2024.

Great property for a large family get together!

We enjoyed our stay and the kids had a blast. Ideal location to enjoy the beach, boardwalk, and neighborhood playground. Host was very accommodating and easily reached. We had a few glitches early in our stay, but they were quickly rectified. We’d definitely stay again.

Family vacation

The property was perfect for our mixed-ages group of 11. Kitchens & bathrooms were more than sufficient. The "livingrooms" & bedrooms were very comfortable TWe enjoyed the outdoor spaces & pool & the proximity to the beach. IThe grounds were nicely landscaped.. It was a wondferful time!

Perfect House

We had a great time during our week stay in Pt Pleasant. The house is a short walk to the beach, boardwalk, and local park/playground. We enjoyed the large deck space and pool daily. The owner generously provided beach passes and parking permits. The house is large and comfortable, and was perfect for our group of 9 adults and 8 children.

Perfect stay for Multi-Family Stay

We couldn’t have asked for a better property to stay at. Easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. The pool and deck were amazing. The house is large enough that everyone has their own space. Everything was perfect. Jim was an amazing host as well. We are looking forward to staying here again!

Nice place and owner

The property is excellent for a large group. There are plenty of places to gather, TVs with streaming, internet, games, and a pool. There are a lot of stairs and some places that might be challenging for people with mobility issues. Parking could be tough if you have more than 3 cars, but the owner helped out by holding a spot with his vehicle. The beach is literally one block away with a boardwalk - lots of activities, arcades, an aquarium, and places to eat and buy gifts. We had a great time!

Fun stay at unique house

I booked this house as a place to stay for 3 nights with my family for a wedding nearby and then to celebrate a birthday. As stated in other reviews, Jim was a great host, and responded to all my questions in a timely manner. There was a lot of rain and street flooding that weekend, and after informing Jim of some minor water in the upstairs sunroom, he came to check right away. The house was very clean and stocked with enough toilet paper, dish detergent, garbage bags, paper towels, and laundry detergent for our stay. We were prepared to purchase them but that was not necessary. The only warning I must point out would be to a group who have difficulty with stairs in renting this home. There were two bedrooms downstairs, but the other bedrooms are all on the second and third floors. The stairs are very steep. This was not a problem for my group, although the three year old exhausted me in her desire to count the bedrooms. However, for a group with issues climbing stairs, that is the only problem I could see. I certainly got my exercise! I would rent this home again if ever in this area.

Perfect location, great house for large groups

Great find for my group of now 15 adults, and 5 kids. It’s very hard to find a place that can fit us all, at a location close to the beach, AND at an affordable price without sacrificing quality. House was/is a duplex made into one rental that is a bit confusing layout at first, but WELL worth it to give space between the early birds and the night owls - each section is completely sound proof to the others which was amazing. We picked the top area as the hang out, and went our own ways when needing space. Great living room areas, comfy beds, new bathrooms, and a new deck with tons of seating/lounging. Location was fantastic - 2 blocks from the beach/boardwalk and 2 blocks the other direction to a gorgeous playground with basketball courts. Very family friendly area, in an adorable well kept neighborhood. Jim was extremely communicative and helpful throughout - super responsive and accommodating. 5 stars for sure!

Great Space for Families Close to the Beach

We had a group of 15 adults and kids stay here at the end of August and it was great! Jim is a fantastic host and very communicative. There was tons of space for everyone to gather while still having their privacy when needed. The beach/boardwalk is a 5-10 minute walk, and there are tons of restaurants and bars nearby. Highly recommend!

Family Fun Retreat

We had a great family retreat at this house. -The many rooms were plenty for our size group (11 adults, 5 kids ranging from 1-9yo). 2 units (4br and 5br) The 5br (2nd and 3rd floor) unit was large enough for communal gatherings. -The pool allowed for adults to relax on the deck while the kids swam. Would recommend that you bring a tarp for shade for August weeks as the sun is directly on the deck most of the day. -The location was perfect in that we were 2 1/2 blocks from the beach and 2 1/2 blocks from the park that has a playground, bball and tennis courts. -Jim was a great communicator and willing to assist in anything needed.

Great stay

Great house for large groups. Only a few minute walk from the boardwalk with a nice outdoor space to hang out and enjoy the sun. Jim was very easy to communicate with and we all enjoyed our long weekend in point pleasant.

Perfect for us

The house is spacious, comfortable and convenient, with many delightful places to hang out with family. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. We love to cook, eat and relax together and this was just right. The short easy stroll to the beach and gracious neighborhood is the finishing touch.

Great house for a big group near the beach

We had a great girls weekend at this property in Point Pleasant. The walk to the beach is so easy and the property is clean and very large. Perfect for a big group, with tons of room to give everyone their own space. Jim was super responsive with anything we needed and was always willing to come by if we needed anything. I would even say the place is nicer than the photos show. We definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a beach weekend at the Jersey shore. We hope to come back!

Weekend with friends!

Great house with everything you need! Many beds, two kitchens, large kitchen table and large living room spaces. Deck was great and pool was wonderful! Lots of parking passes, two car garage and driveway so no need to worry about parking! Property manager was very friendly and helpful - always easy to contact and explained everything very well. The boardwalk, town, grocery store and ice cream are super close as well so plenty to do and easy to grab food/coffee/groceries quickly! Overall, great stay!

We (Jim & Karla) lived in northern NJ and did day trips for many years, as a family of 5, hotels never really worked for us at the shore. It is important to us to provide for others what we looked for ourselves in a vacation rental.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because of the location & what it has to offer. 9 bedroom home! We can fit everyone! The home is well maintained & was a great fit for us. So many homes we looked at are outdated, small rooms, or just damaged from Sandy. You could not even tell that Sandy hit this area from the looks of this home!
Since, 2020, we now only rent the home in the summer as the full house. We enjoy seeing the family celebrations arrive each week. It is the same reason why we bought this home. We now live just 3 houses away from this home & we focus on everyone's stay each week. For the 2021 will be our 8th year of renting out this house to families.

What makes this property unique

Just far enough from the beach (in a residential neighborhood) to avoid the noise and chaos of the Boardwalk rides, yet close enough to roll out of bed in the morning and be walking on the beach in 5 minutes! House sleeps 18 guests!!! Also we now have 8 seasons of experience as owners to ensure each group is happy with their stay.
