1950's NAGS HEAD BEACH COTTAGE , IN EXCELLENT CONDITION840 sq ft 3 occp max

We are located in the heart of Nags Head, one of the best locations on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Jim and I welcome guests who will enjoy a cottage that is in pristine condition. The cottage is in walking distance to the Bladen Street Beach Access (less then a (10 )ten minute walk or a two minute bike ride), we are between the highways which means you never have to cross the busy bypass to get to the beach! Take a stroll to the Nags Head Pier, Tortugas' Lie, and Lucky 12 Tavern or a bike ride to multiple art galleries, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and even Jockey's Ridge State Park (the largest dunes on the east coast which promise incredible sunsets). Kids and adults will enjoy a game of Putt Putt at Galaxy Golf. We pride ourselves in making sure the cottage is clean and well decorated. Adjoining the outdoor dining deck is a lounging deck which is a great place to lay out or read a book. We are less then nine miles to the town of Maneto and many Public Golf Courses.

The cottage is very cute and cozy. It was actually bigger than we expected, but we appreciated the transparency in the listing in regards to size! It was very clean and even smelled amazing upon check in. We didn’t need much, but it had everything we needed and more! The backyard is sizable if you’re traveling with dogs, and there is a nice porch and outdoor shower as well. You can walk to the beach via a marked walkway to the main beach access, though it is also a short drive with very nice parking at the beach access. The cottage is off of a main road, but there is very little road noise and the owner has made a turn around in the driveway so you’re not having to back out onto the road which is very appreciated! Jim was very communicative and let us know all of his recommendations for restaurants, activities, and even for dog friendly places! We would love to stay again if we are back in the area!

Lovely little cottage
This cottage is absolutely adorable & cozy. It is close to everything. Jim made the process of our whole (first VRBO) experience very smooth. We will definitively return to this house in the future. It was perfect for a nice little getaway for my husband & I.

Nice small home to stay
Very nice, clean place to stay. Small home but perfect for the two of us. The owner greeted us upon arrival and was very nice and helpful. We loved the fenced in yard and our dog did too! It was close to a busy road but the traffic didn’t bother us.Willl be back again hopefully!

Clean, well maintained little cozy cottage. Walking distance to the beach. Pet friendly. The owner was there to greet us upon arrival. He went over everything and even had suggestions for local restaurants. We would definitely go back again. Thanks Jim!

This was my first little trip of 2024 and unfortunately it was to spread some of my mother’s ashes. The house was very welcoming and we felt very comfortable there. Would definitely stay again! Dogs give it 5 stars as well!

My friends, dog and I enjoyed the cottage very much. It was so relaxing and you knew you were at the beach by how nicely the place was decorated. My favorite thing was showering under the stars, my dog’s was, of course, the nice back yard, and my friends loved how quaint the place was. The owners could not have been any nicer and accommodating. Despite the busy location of the cottage, I would still book again next year.

Good location, Jim was very helpful. Great little peaceful cottage for a couple and two dogs. Enjoyed having the yard and the patio area to hang out in without having to worry about the dogs and the road. Only issue was the driveway can be easy to miss right off the highway.

Beach Cottage
The owner met us at check in and departure. It was nice to meet him and know he was readily available if we needed anything. The house had everything, and there was no need to contact him. It was great to have a fenced yard close to the beach for our pup, and we enjoyed the short walk to the beach. The only thing I’d change is the noise from traffic which I am not used to at home.

OBX Get-a-Way
Property exactly as described. Very clean and accomodating smallish cottage but plenty of room for small family. Property well maintained . Backyard fenced in and private . Our small Boston Terrier loved it. The owner couldn't be more accomodating. He was there to greet us and show us the house and property. If any issues you had peace of mind that he was close by and would attend to it. This is the type of person you want to rent from.

Such a cozy little 1950's style home in just the right location. Just a few minutes drive and you are at the shops, restaurants and so much more. We will definitely stay here again.

The perfect little getaway…
My fiancé and I stayed at the Caddy Shack for my 30th birthday. The cottage is clean, cute and cozy! The outdoor shower is absolutely incredible! Back porch and fenced in back yard is private and lit up beautifully at night! Jim is a 10/10 host! We cannot wait to come back! Love from Ohio!

Bose surround sound system, linked to the DVD for movie goers. One of the coolest outside showers in the OBX. Centrally located making it easy to visit many landmark places without driving long distances. Easy access to multiple top Grocery Store's if you choose to dine in. We also do a monthly barrier mosquito spraying that greatly reduces the biting pest ... so you can enjoy the outside ... it works
