Great place to stay
This house was very nice. I was very impressed. I would stay here again for sure. Everything was provided. Nice neighborhood and the bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable. Stocked up and we cooked the whole time to save on money. Recommending this place to anyone who has kids also. Plenty to do.

Good location and lots of room!!
Stayed here in March, the house was clean and well stocked. The owner was very friendly and very easy to get ahold of, she answered all my questions promptly. Called the owner and talked to her to ease my mind since this was the first time booking thru VRBO, she was very helpful and put my mind at ease, gave me tips about the area! The house was in a great location on a nice quiet street, short driving distance to the beaches and shopping at St. Armands Circle with plenty of shops , restaurant's and ice cream places! Lots of other eating options in the Sarasota area. We had 4 adults and 3 children in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The listing and photos were accurate on the website. Everyone had a great time and the weather was absolutely amazing!! Thanks for an uncomplicated stay! I would stay here again and I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the SW Florida area.
The home is in a beautiful neighborhood for walking, and there is a delightful park, friendly to dogs, a few blocks away on Sarasota Bay. The location provides easy access to the Ringling Museum and Asolo Theater, downtown, and Lido Key Beach. We very much enjoyed our time at Diane's house and found both her and Dan, the caretaker, very responsive and helpful. We happen to prefer very firm mattresses, and these were soft but ok. Dan and his wife, Suzy, cleaned the house for us a couple of times in our nearly two months there and left it spotless. All in all, we were very happy there.
Enjoyed our stay at this home . Great walking neighborhood. The park 2 blocks away was our daily walk with our dog . Great sunsets ! Enjoyed trips to beach with owners chairs , umbrella , boogie board and beach towels . Would stay here again .
My wife and two daughters (11,15) spent a week at this lovely place. The location was really great! Less than 5 min walk to the water, and 10 min drive to downtown Sarasota. The place was incredibly well-designed and comfortable. We enjoyed the screened in patio - even with the heat and humidity of July in Florida. We all loved downtown Sarasota - great restaurants, vibe and ice cream (try Fat Donkey!).
The house was spotless when we arrived and has a very nice layout. Everything we needed was provided. A 5 minute walk takes you to a beautiful little park on the beach. Diane responded very quickly to our emails and was very gracious regarding a last minute change in our plans. We'll be back!
We had a great stay. The house is very conveniently located. We didn’t use the yard but we cooked every meal at the house. My husband and I took the front room because it’s near the front door. The small en suite bathroom worked well for us and the kids shared the hall bathroom which has the double sinks. The whole family enjoyed our stay!
The property is located in one of the best neighborhoods of Sarasota- only 20-min drive from Siesta Beach, 12-min drive from Lido Beach, 6-min walk to the Ringling Museum and the Shoreline park, making it a great location for evening walks to see the sunset, wonderful palm trees and marvelous million(s)-dollars homes in the area.
We found the house very clean, the open plan and 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms was perfect for us. There is a screen porch in the back- nice area to sit in the evenings. Backyard has a grill and a hammock, but we did not use it- too short of a stay.
Checkin was flawless- basically it is a self-checkin. Communication with Diane - the owner, was excellent- she answered all our questions quickly and effectively. Home is fully equipped with everything you need to have a great vacation- linens, pillows, towels, kitchen appliances, washer and drier- everything you need. Of course, you should bring your shampoo, toothbrush and paste, and other cosmetics :) Do not forget the sunscreen (the higher SPF the better- it’s South Florida).
We loved the place, we loved Sarasota and the beaches. We’ll be back, for sure.
COVID-19 related: very few people wear masks in public places. On the beach- zero people wear masks, which is probably OK. Siesta Beach was crowded- we did not like it, and therefore spent the rest of vacation on Lido. I think nowadays less popular beach is a better place to spend time by the water.
We chose this home because it was pet friendly and looked to be in a quiet location. It was delightful. The fenced in back yard was great for our dog, she spent the whole two weeks keeping squirrels and lizards out of the yard. We mostly spent our time on the screened in Lanai to enjoy the weather. The house had everything we needed, the airfryer was a welcome addition. Less than 5 miles from Lido Beach and a short walk to the Bay Park where sunsets were gorgeous. Definitely recommend this place!
House was very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed. All of the furnishings were very comfortable. Close to beaches. We look forward to staying there in the future!
Amazing neighborhood, quiet and secure. The house was just the right size, very clean and all that was needed was provided. The owner responded to all concerns we had and was extremely helpful and gracious, we will definitely stay here again when in Sarasota.
We enjoyed it so much , we have rebooked. Everything we needed was there. The only issue we had was the beach chairs. They were fold ups on the ground and not quite comfortable for us. Our dog was entertained daily by the squirrels. Plenty of room and management got a grill in place in a day, when we notified them there wasn’t one there.
The house was clean and tastefully decorated. The location was very convenient for our stay and the neighborhood was quiet. Would recommend the rental.
Clean and neat. Assessable to many local activities...

Quaint home in beautiful neighborhood close to everything in sarasota
Loved our time in sapphire shores. A great community and nice size house with large yard was perfect for our family which included two dogs. About half a mile walk from the ocean and close to everything else in Sarasota.
House is a bit old and could benefit from some minor updates. We had to bring almost all of our own kitchens accessories for our longer stay.

Wonderful Experience!
We had the absolute best time in this vacation rental. The owner and property manager were so kind, helpful, and accomodating. We stayed for a month while we looked for a permanent home in the area with a newborn, 2 small kids with autism, who can be quite challenging at times, and a 7 year old and there was plenty of room for all of us. My husband relocated jobs from another state and I knew it would be a transition for all of us, but our stay here couldn't have went better. We loved the backyard, the neighborhood, and the location of the home. It is close to so much. We went to the jungle garden and ringling playground weekly and there was a neighborhood park where my children caught lizards in the sunset and met new friends in the neighborhood. The beaches are not far and there is a bayfront park downtown with lots to do for adults and kids. The red tide was bad for our stay so we didnt go to the beach for long while we were there, but thay didnt stop us from having a fantastic time. There are pleanty of pools and even a small water park (sun and fun) not too far, for very reasonable daily passes. Dont pass this one up. You wont be disappointed!
