We are a family of four who live in Waco, TX and have made a second home in Red River, NM. We spend a large amount of our family time in Red River and enjoy opening our special place to guests so they can enjoy the beauty and character of Red River too.
This particular property is new to VRBO (as of Feb 2024), but this isn't our first rodeo in the short-term rental business. We are highly experienced hosts who have been hosting guests in our nightly rental properties for more than a decade! We love getting to know our guests and connecting with them as they make their own Red River memories.

This house might be in the very best location in town. Besides having great views, our house is right in the heart of Red River. You can walk to the Red River Brewing Company in less than 2 minutes. You can walk to two of the ski lifts (Platinum and Copper) that carry you to the summit. You can walk to the Red River and enjoy catching trout and fly-fishing. Are you coming in to town for a festival in Brandenburg Park? Well, we're right across the street from it too. You can even enjoy many of the concerts held in the park from the balcony of the townhouse.
Because we are located right in the middle of town, there really isn't a part of town that isn't easily accessible on foot.
Besides being nice, clean, and well maintained, the intangible element of this property is its location. The location can't be beat.

What makes this property unique
Many places in Red River are worn out and, believe me, we've stayed in a few of them. That wasn't our goal when we purchased this home. We immediately started a major remodel/updating project to bring our home out of the 1980's and into the 2020s. This included all new kitchen appliances, new flooring, new toilets, new window treatments, new staircases, etc. This is a nice property, and our guests appreciate the time, work, and money we've invested into making our place exceptionally nice and comfortable.
We also strive to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible by offering special touches, such as sleds in the winter, and hiking sticks in the summer. If you have any special requests, just ask and we will do our best to accommodate!
Oh, and did we mention the location can't be beat?
