Mariposa: Beachfront townhome in Las Conchas w/ great view & pristine beaches

Mariposa is a two bedroom, two bath beachfront condo with gorgeous ocean views. The master bedroom has a queen bed and private tiled bath. The other bedroom has twin beds with an easy-to-access tiled bathroom just down the hall. There is a fully equipped kitchen including a Keurig coffee maker (as well as a standard coffee maker), but just be sure to bring your own Kcups!. The kitchen also includes a blender, toaster, and microwave for as much (or as little) cooking as you would like to do. The living/dining area, which overlooks the Sea of Cortez, has a queen sized sleeper sofa and a wood burning fireplace (bring own wood or fire logs). The oceanside patio has a charcoal barbecue and patio furniture. Other amenities include central heating/AC, Wi-Fi, fans in all rooms, Smart TV, Direct-TV and DVD. There is a landline provided for your convenience.

Owner requests No Smoking Inside. Pet Friendly upon approval. Sheets and one set of bath towels are provided.

Beautiful Beach

The property is as listed. Located on a beautiful beach that is not crowded and every day Peter would come around and deliver burritos, tamales, tortillas, if requested. Massages were readily available as were delicious pineapple drinks. Very happy with the stay. Felt safe, condo was clean and everyone was very accommodating and kind.

Nice Affordable Beach Front

Cute little place! Cheaper than you can get a Holiday Inn room in Scottsdale on the beach. Nothing fancy but for a small group who wants to spend most of their time on the beach it is perfect. I would rent again. Also, Oceano rentals, the property management company that runs this rental and many others in the area are awesome! They always help out at a moments notice with any and all needs. I think next time I will rent directly through them.

Excellent Beachfront Getaway

Our stay at Mariposa on Las Conches was excellent! Bed was comfortable pillows were a bit hard, the view and ocean was more beautiful than we expected. The place had everything we needed to make our stay great. The only issue was the sliding glass door came off the track, but it was easy to get back in. We notified Oceano and they said they would have it fixed. The neighbors that own the place next door were AMAZING, and it looks like the the other place next door is vacant and has been for awhile. It was great to walk out the back door and cast our fishing poles! We Caught a few fish. There are vendors offering knickknacks, drinks, jewelry and massages. The location is great! About a 10 minute drive to the Malecon part of town. We felt very safe. Place was clean. We can’t wait to go back!

All appliances and fixtures worked fine, no issues with internet or streaming, comfortable and clean. We enjoy this area along Las Conchas, good mix of sand and rocky tide pools. We come to Rocky Point 1-2 times a year, and we always rent through Oceano. Great service!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at various properties in this complex and always love it. But some properties are better than others, despite similar in price. Mariposa needs some upgrades, maintenance, and tender loving care. From the screen door falling off, 2 gas grills that did not work. Only 2 lounge chairs for 4. No table on patio to eat or play games. We like cooking at home and the kitchen was poorly equipped. Only 4 forks? Unit may be ok for 2, but certainly not 4. I learned that this property is actually owned by Oceano and not privately, which makes this inexcusable. I always rent from Oceano and all good experiences. Please fix this place up, or rent it at much lower price.
