The space
Perfect for 2-3 families! A true historic landmark. The firs Lewes National Bank was the first bank in the first town of the first state! The building once sat on second amongst the shops of Lewes and actually printed money from 1898-1915. In 1915 famous local sea captain James Bartlett moved the structure to a lot he owned on second street. December of 2021 I purchased the property and fully restored every aspect down to the studs. Including a full exterior, to period, restoration. The home has a brand new high velocity HVAC system on two zones. Ground floor for one zone and the second floor plus attic bedroom for another. The home is on Franklin ave which is a two minute walk to all the shops but is out of the noise during the day. My favorite spaces are the period correct study with fireplace, the first floor porch and second story balcony. Great for multiple families, you will feel you have ample space and simply love the home.
Other things to note
You simply will love staying at the first Lewes National Bank!
