It was great and Jeremy was great at responding and taking care of anything we needed. I only gave 4 stars for accuracy of description because the couch can be slept on but it does not convert to a sofa bed. However, there is a loft bed in the queen room. So there was still enough sleep space. Host said options aren’t given on VRBO to select the actual description. I only mention it because we had mixed company of teens and I had to reconfigure sleeping arrangements a little bit. There is an upstairs unit that I didn’t see mentioned on the website, but we were told about on the way. It wasn’t an issue for us. The fire pit and back yard space was great too. The teens loved that. We really enjoyed the front porch fire pit, TV, and long table for eating. They have made great use of the space and really went all in with the game theme! Our teens loved it! And the popcorn machine was huge hit! So good!!
My daughter and her friends stayed for her birthday. They had a blast! All kinds of games to play through the night, TVs in every room for various tastes, lots of fun for them in a clean, safe environment. Loved bunk beds, the comfort of the beds, bathrooms were loved, pool table, skee ball, popcorn machine, board games, and poker.
Our family had such a fun time at The Gamer’s Oasis! Jeremy was so easy to communicate with and quick to respond. He also willingly dropped off a different game console since the original wasn’t working. My 8 year old boys, 4 year old, and 2 year old all had an absolute blast with the game setup!! The environment was just so cute too with all the retro and vintage games and decor. The bunk bed in the kids room, skee ball, pac man, and pool table/air hockey/ping pong were the biggest hits!! Kitchen had all the essentials, plenty of towels, and beds were comfy. Our only call out would be the small size shower (my husband is so tall so he felt a little crammed) and the ice and water dispenser from the fridge wasn’t working. They were kind enough to provide a bag of ice though. They even left bags of popcorn for us to use for the popcorn machine. The house definitely felt like the nicest house in the neighborhood, but thankfully it was centrally located to everything we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay here again!
The gaming theme of this property was so much fun. My kids (7 and 4) absolutely loved it. All the details were great. One of the pictures of the bedrooms only shows a full bed but when we got to the property we discovered they had built a bunk bed above that bed which ended up being perfect for my kids. The property owner was very quick to respond to messages which I appreciate. I would say the only negative was the size of the shower. It is VERY tiny. Luckily myself and my family are not tall people so we made it work but if you are above 5’5 you will not be able to stand up in the shower.
From the fun decor to the full functioning kitchen, everything was perfect. Not once did we hear "I'm bored". Rooms were nice and big, comfy beds and extras everywhere you looked. The big bonus for us was the fact they offer one night rentals which isnt easy to find. We will be returning.
We enjoyed the house and all of the cool additions. There were games galore and my teenage boy loved it! Also loved the popcorn machine. We will keep this in our list of places to potentially stay for further trips!
My family really enjoyed staying at Jeremy's place. He was an excellent host. There was something fun in every room. We were there for two nights, so the kids you got to enjoy playing skee-ball, pool, video games, mini ping pong, arcade games, and more.
We had a very enjoyable weekend here. It was 4 adults (2 adult children) and 2 grandchildren. There was a game for everyone. The videogames on the TV were fun for the grandkids to see how games used to be. This along with the physical games really helped us keep everyone entertained.
The kitchen was stocked well enough that we were not forced to go buy a pantry staple just to have eggs in the morning. There was no dining table, so I was glad we hadn't planned dinners here, but for breakfast & snacks it was just fine.
The house was located close to the highways to make visiting local attractions quite simple & not to far away. Overall we had a nice stay here.
Games, football and fun. Oh my! Cute gaming house. Big back yard! Comfy beds. Electronic set up in multiple rooms. Coffee maker for the adults who need it. Cold fridge. The dishwasher did not work. We had paper plates. There is a live-in upstairs. Didn't hear a peep out of him.
My family recently stayed at the gamers oasis and they absolutely loved the place and did not want to leave. Jeremy communicated very well and responded to messages in a reasonable time. The place was very clean and stocked with clean linens, and even had some snacks. Highly recommend and look forward to staying again.
