The apartment is incredibly well located in the heart of the old town, but is quiet. It is very comfortable and well fitted out with everything you need from a holiday apartment, including sun hats, deck chairs and beach towels.
We have stayed in Antibes many times and this is by far the best apartment.

A perfect location and place to experience Antibes old town!
Great property. Easy to deal with owner and manager. Thanks!
Very nice, spacious, and clean flat located in a rampart with a beautiful window that opens into a popular area of Old Town. Fantastic location, close to everything. Check-in process was easy, but had to reach out to VRBO for communication with host the day of, which was a little frustrating, however, ended up working out just fine. Washer machine broke during our stay, which was not ideal however certainly not the hosts fault. I would definitely stay here again!
The most amazing location. Just steps away from your door is the old town main square with daily fresh Market, shops, tourist attractions, and restaurants. On the other side, just steps from the Mediterranean sea and about 2 blocks to the beach. All this, and it was very quiet and peaceful given the location. No traffic noise and barely and people noise.
We loved stepping out our door and being able to grab what we needed for the day within minutes before heading out on our adventures. Apartment was well furnished with many nice touches that made it feel more like home than a rental. Only thing was washer/dryer was checked but only had a washer. Drying in line dry due to the old Town area. Was not a major issue.
Thank you for the amazing trip and we can't wait to visit again in the future.

Disliked: Communication
The reservation was canceled without any explanation. Thus one star does not reflect the quality of the property, but it can be a warning for anybody who plans an overseas trip in the summer. Your reservation can be simply canceled. To be fair, I have to mention that the refund was immediately issued.
Ideal location on the sea side of old town Antibes.
We were so pleased from the moment we opened the door until the time we said goodbye to this amazing apartment. It is in a perfect location in old town of Antibes.
The apartment:
Cleanliness. The apartment was pristine.
The linens were lovely as was the comfort of the bed.
Loved the mirrors. Added light and made getting ready simple. The lighting was also lovely. TV and stations, washing machine, iron, blow dryer , drying rack, A/C units all worked perfectly.
Kitchen:
The kitchen has everything you would require for your stay. Nespresso, pods/tea, microwave, dishes, pots, cooler bag (for day trips to the multiple gorgeous beaches) and a rollator trolly for the market or beach days. Also had two folding chairs and lovely large/fresh beach towels.
The furniture was comfortable and has a double pull out sofa that we didn’t use but would accommodate our teenager on next trip.
There are a few stairs to get into the apartment. (It is on the second floor basically.)
The apartment was quiet and provided a great spot to have a restful nights sleep. The walls must be 20” thick. (Think old chateau).
Micaela has the ideal location on the cote d’Asure. You won’t be disappointed in your stay. Lovely thoughtful details like fresh roses and chocolates, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, first aid kit. Though not all used made me realize that Cathy and Micaela put their guests comforts a priority.
Parking and driving in Antibes.
Best to rent a compact car as parking is tight and limited. We were lucky to get (street) parking right outside the restaurant for 3 days at ~10 euros a day. And then up about 200 m for the additional 3 days at the same cost. If not available she will advise on underground or marina parking at around 25 euro for 24 hours within a 5 min walk.
Antibes was the highlight of our 15 days in France.
We look forward to returning to this charming apartment in this quaint port side of Antibes.
Merci

Superb location in Antibes
Superb location in Antibes old town, steps from beautiful sea view, market, Picasso museum. Lovely walk by marina to train station for broad access to Cote d'Azur. Envibus stops short walk away, too. Apartment itself is very well-equipped (especially the kitchen), comfortable, pleasingly decorated, and extremely clean. We (three adults) stayed for five nights, could easily imagine staying longer. Only two aspects of apartment would prevent an absolutely perfect rating: there is a rack for drying clothes but no dryer machine (the washer works well, though), and maintaining hot water in the shower for three people was difficult. Overall, a very enjoyable stay there and would highly recommend for a visit to Antibes or as a base for exploring the region. Owner's communications were great.

Fantastic location
My stay at Michaela’s apartment was perfect. It was located on the cusp of the old town and the sea. It was exactly where I wanted to be. The unit itself was clean, comfortable, and charming. Everything I could want was provided, and Michaela was great at regularly checking in to see if there was anything I needed. Her local contact was very helpful, Cheerfylly answering questions and providing clean linens. I lacked for nothing. I cannot recommend this place more. There are some steps getting up to the unit, which were a concern for me, as I have a bad knee. However, I managed just fine, And the stairs posed no problem. I would gladly stay here again.

Perfect location in an absolutely charming and well-appointed apartment!😎
To really experience the charm, authenticity and quality of life which Antibes presents to its visitors, it would be difficult not to appreciate Le Bonheur! Location, ambience and comfort all rolled into one- what more could you want. Rest assured the tower window wil be drawing you to watch the world of the old city evolving daily and into the night. For us, we have been spending part of our yearly life here in Antibes for 30 years and we will return to Le Bonheur again if Micaela (and Cathy) will permit.

Location, location, location
This was our first ever visit to Antibes, and our first self catering holiday with our young family, so we had a little anxiety prior to arrival at the apartment "Le Bonheur".
First off - everything practically and administratively went very smoothly. Micaela, the owner, fielded the paperwork and payment efficiently, and Cathy (the local property manager) was friendly, responsive and prompt with everything she did.
The property itself has a nice layout with just enough space for a family of four with young children (aged 5 and 2). It is on the first floor entered by quite a steep flight of stairs, which was fine but needs handled with care.
Everything worked as it should, apart from the double sofa bed in the living room which wouldn't open out completely flat, but this was fine as my wife ended up with the kids most nights. The air conditioning was superb and was very much needed as we had daily temps of 37 degrees, even early evening it was still around 34. The fridge was also very cold, which isn't often the case in a hot country.
If there was a negative about the apartment it is that it would benefit from some new towels and bed linen - which wouldn't cost much, and maybe a new double sofa bed in the living room. We didn't try the two single sofa beds so cant comment on them.
None of this was at all a major issue however as the price of the property for the week was extremely good value given the area, location, and the fact it was the start of peak holiday season.
Now, onto the location. Wow! In two respects. Antibes itself is just wonderful, the old town in particular. Just a perfect place to wander around, relax, eat and drink. Great for kids as there is a beach and any traffic is minimal and slow.
And the actual location of the flat itself within the old town, has the main morning vegetable and meat market almost literally on its doorstep - this area transforms into a series of open air restaurants in the evening, so you can eat and drink in a variety of places within 1 minute walk of the property. The area where the apartment is couldn't really be bettered as an area to stay in in old Antibes.
I'd say the nearest sandy beach was 250m away by foot.
So the location of the property is its main selling point, and gave a great base from which my family and I completely fell for the wonderful Antibes.

Great location in Antibes!
The apartment is located in the old town, steps from the daily open air market and many shops and restaurants. There is a washing machine, nice for longer visits.
The kitchen is small, but serviceable for breakfast and small meals.
Cathy, the owner's local rep, was VERY helpful, picking us up at the airport, some light grocery shopping before arrival, etc.
for the price, it is a great value!!

Apartment in Antibes
My wife and I rented this apartment for 4 weeks. The apartment is ideally located in the old town of Antibes beside the market and restaurants, which is very convenient. The train station is about a 10 minute walk and Nice airport about 30 minutes by car/taxi. The agent who takes care of the details, Cathy, is an absolute delight- extremely helpful. This is a very pleasant apartment most suitable for 2-3 people ( 2 is better) but can accommodate 4. Joe and Evelyn , Rhode Island, USA

Heaven in the Old Town
Deciding that we would head to Monoco for the 2013 Grand Prix, we wanted to soak up the surrounds of nearby France and see everything and anything that was on offer. Having never visited the south of France we were a little overwhelmed by the language barrier, road systems and trying to find our way around, but on arriving in the beautiful town of Old Town Antibes, our worries faded away quicker than the setting sun. Le Bonheur is drapped over the cobbled streets of the Old Town, to say it's centrally located would be an understatement. Cathy, the local manger went above and beyond the call of duty to help us settle in, helping with our luggage and even our travels plans in anyway she could. The apartment is decorated beautifully and you can tell that much care has been taken to offer up a unique and authentic French experience. The wifi was a blessing as we were constanly planning our daily activities, well not before we hopped down the stairs an into one of the bakeries that serves steaming croissants and fresh coffee. We travelled to nearby towns and of course made it to the Grand Prix without a hitch, all the while reassured in knowing we didnt have miles to travel to get back home. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we will definitely be visiting this wonderful apartment again, there is simply too much magic in Antibes not to return!

Delightful
What a lovely experience I had in this delightful apartment in the heart of the Old Quarter! I have been to Antibe twice and both times I stayed in this apartment... and will most definatly go back again! Waking up to watch and listen to the set up of the farmers market in the morning was blissful- no better way to start you day! And a perfect evening consisted of sitting on the window edge eating our freshly made dinner (ingedients from the market in the morning!) watching the wining and dining of the night below us!
The apartment is superbly located with a perfect mixture of one being able to enjoy the quaint quite village but with a dash of vibrancy and fun! A real cultural experince!
The owner, Micaela was so easy to deal with and has gone to a great deal of artistic effort to make the apartment not only extremely comfortable, but also aesthetically pleasing. The rental agent Cathy was friendly and helpful and assisted us with any touring queries we had.
I had everything I needed and more during my stay in the most wonderful Town, in the most beautiful home! So looking forward to my next visit!

A historical gem!
After spending the last two weeks in Antibes I have fallen in love with France and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere but this quaint, beautifully maintained apartment.
The building in which the apartment is situated is historically noticeable, and aesthetically pleasing on the outside, as well as on the inside. One of four apartments in the building, allowed for sufficient security with neighbours, yet kept the atmosphere quiet and subdued.
The position of the property is ideal, only a few minutes walk from the fresh market, restaurants, patisseries, bars, and shops. The historical Picasso Museum is a must-see and a mere 200m from the front door, a pleasure for anyone looking for a quick bit of cultural history! The beach a stones throw away, and the port is a perfect sunset walk in the evening. All within the vicinity of the apartment, and not to be missed.
The owner has provided the necessary amenities with regards to kitchen utensils, linens, towels and other house hold appliances. There is a modern set-up with television, Sky TV box, DVD player and wi-fi – all of which I found useful for entertaining and staying in touch with people at home and at work.
When I arrived I found the apartment to be immaculately maintained, and in pristine condition. Everything was neat and tidy, and organized methodically. I enjoyed being able to utilize the books provided by the owner, especially when needing to refer to the guide books and the French dictionary!
Most importantly, I found the property manager a pleasure to work with when I arrived. Cathy was very helpful and friendly and I felt she had everything in her control from start to finish. Micaela, the property owner, was well organized prior to my arrival with lease agreement clearly set out and easy to understand, making business run smoothly and efficiently.
All in all, my experience was unforgettable and one of the happiest times of my life. I won’t hesitate to pick this as my first, and only, choice the next time I visit the South of France. I would without question recommend this apartment to friends and family as a perfect place for holiday.

Most charming house in old Antibes
I rented this appartment for 3 weeks this summer (2011) and I really liked it. To bad she hasnt added picture from the outside, it is one of the most lovely building in the old town. Everyone stoped outside to take a picture, and I got comments like "lucky you that lives here". The flat was very well furbished, every thing you needed were there of practical equipments. The bedroom was in the back of the building, (very good and large bed) and it was quiet and cool. Even though this is in the centre of Antibes it was quite. Charming to wake up in the morning and sit in the window and watch the busy marked. I will recommend this place.

The sunshine and beaches of the French Riviera are enough to make sure your holiday is a great one. When you however include a very comfortable and cozy apartment in Old Antibes situate within a historic stone building close to the Picasso Museum, 50 metres from the fabulous beaches and 30 metres from an amazing market that opens and closes in different formats twice daily, and with probably 30-40 great restaurants all within 100 metres, you really can't ask for more. This was a great stay! Thank you.
