About the host
Hosted by Daisy Scarzello
I grew up in Rhode Island and moved to San Diego for my high school years. All the while I'd spend every school vacation back at the cabin in Vermont - biking, swimming, skiing, catching salamanders, you name it!
I spent 15 years in the classroom teaching Middle School Science and loving it! Then opportunity arose and I began my own rental management company which gives me a more flexible schedule so I can spend more time with my family while running the business. Now a days I spend most of my time adventuring with our three children biking, swimming, catching salamanders... The rest of the time I can be found scheming up a new project with my husband, gardening, or designing a new space.

Why they chose this property
This was my father's property that we spent my youth visiting for ski vacations & summer days at the lake. I loved Vermont so much I moved here after finishing High School and never left! It has been a family effort to revitalize the property, tend the gardens (which were my first gardens 20 years ago!), and to finish the projects my father started. It warms my heart to get to open this space for others to visit and create their own new memories!
What makes this property unique
There is a lot of love put into every inch of this place inside and out. The daughter of a landscaper and woodworker, I have a great appreciation for fine craftsmanship and put my all into every detail.
Situated across the street from our Kismet Cabin, guest have the option to rent both places to accomodate a larger group.
The Alpine Apartment boasts a beautiful garden with fire pit that is great for catching some afternoon sun and roasting some marshmallows under the starry sky.
There are only 3 properties on the road making it a very quiet and peaceful getaway.
