We had such a wonderful time at this house. Could not believe how close it was to skiing. House was so clean. Perfect place for multiple families looking for a weekend getaway. We look forward to booking again!
Plenty of room.the house was set up well to accommodate a large group while also providing many places that allowed to be set away from the group. The house was also stocked very well
The house was ideal. We had a large group of adults so all the beds were key. Common area was perfect. Location is great. Easy communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pico house. Plenty of room for everyone to relax after skiing all day. Great location with easy walk to Pico slopes. Will definitely consider re-renting this property!
This was the perfect house for our multi- family get away. The house is roomy, clean, modern and so very convenient for skiing, as it is a few minute walk to Pico base lodge. The bedrooms are roomy and have comfy beds. The kitchen is modern and fully stocked. Would definitely recommend!
Beautiful and cozy home. Perfect size for a group, lots of rooms and big common areas. The attention of Carrie was espectacular, always being very responsive.
We had a wonderful stay at The Original Pico House! With 6 adults and 6 teens (16-18) we had plenty of room for everyone. The teens enjoyed having their own space in the bunk rooms and downstairs TV room. They had a great time with the Wii game system - it was a blast from the past!
The main living area was nice for spreading out. We enjoyed time by the fire, card games at the table, and watching the football game out in the 4 season porch. There was enough room so that no one in our group felt crowded.
We came for a ski weekend, one day at Killington and one day at Pico. The house location couldn’t be better! We walked to Pico and rode the shuttle from the Pico parking lot to Killington - it was awesome!
We’ll hope to be back soon.

Primo location...entire house in need of full upgrade
We very much enjoyed the location of the house which was about as good as it gets...location, location, location as they say in real estate. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives stop as the house was VERY DIRTY, quite old and in need of serious upgrades / repairs everywhere you looked. Everything was dated - linens, appliances, furniture, etc., etc. - and didn’t seem to be well cared for over many, many years which was quite unfortunate. Given the price point of ~$1300 / night, one would expect a decent interior / exterior with modest amenities but this house unfortunately fell short in many respects. It could be as simple as taking one seasons worth of rental income and reinvesting back into the house to bring it up to par for a house at the current price point.
Perfect location, 10 min away from Killington resort and right on Pico Mountain. Good sized house, fit 12 people comfortably. Not the cleanest house in the world, but not the worst. No real complaints here, except for the basement being musty, but we would book again if we had to.
The house was perfect for our situation. I had 4 kids downstairs in the bunk room and they had a blast down there without disturbing anyone. There was all the cooking supplies to be able to cook breakfast, the house is older but clean, beds comfortable , nice firepit, spacious. We had one hot day and the fans were nice to have.
House was perfect for a quick getaway from Boston for a ski weekend! Carrie was very communicative ahead of time and the house was very spacious to accommodate us all!
Looking forward to visiting again in the winter as it is literally right next to the slopes. With a very large party, this place still offered us the space we needed to comfortably sleep 17 people. Plenty of space for all of us to mingle, cook, and eat all in one space. This place basically had everything we could’ve asked for.....only one thing we all wished for was a hot tub ;)
A small group of us stayed for the weekend while attending the Spartan races. The house is very nice! There is plenty of room, beds, long lasting hot water, plenty of showers, and just over all a great place. The kitchen is set up nice to have a good group dinner, though this year we did not. I hope to stay hear every year for the Spartan events.

Frank and Joanne Dunn have spent their whole lives living in Western Massachusetts. They love to be outdoors hiking, snow shoeing, skiing and golfing. They are very active Grandparents.
Why they chose this property
When Frank and Joanne were looking for a property in VT they wanted something that would be large enough for their 3 children, spouses and grandchildren. They certainly found that with this house. This huge 6 bedroom house is large enough for everyone plus some guests. There is something for everyone in the area; which is hard to find with such a large family. This was definitely the right fit for them and they hope you will feel the same way.
What makes this property unique
Pico is the perfect ski mountain for small children and for those who are just learning to ski. All trails end at the same central location (the base lodge) so it is perfect for families or friends that don't want to lose someone at a larger area. For those who prefer a larger mountain, you can hop on a shuttle at the base of Pico and head over the Killington Mountain. No need to worry about the hassle of parking and then lugging all your equipment with you. This house really has something for everyone. There are 3 separate sitting areas so everyone has room to spread out and relax. The house has 3 separate decks (one right off the master bedroom) and a grill on the main deck.
