False Creek Yacht

Best location for attending an event at BC Place or Roger’s Stadium. Host was very responsive to our requests. Water taxi to Granville Island right next door. So nice our large group could all visit together. Wouldn’t have had the same experience staying in a hotel and dining in a restaurant.

Birthday Celebration

The host walked us through the boat and everything we needed to know. He was confused about us staying the night and how many people there would be even though I said it was a birthday party and I booked it till the next day. He made us check out at 9am even though it said 11AM on the listing. Despite these we had a good time and cleaned everything up well. I would be very clear about the check out time before you commit to it,

Wonderful Location for Concerts, Great Views & Common Area

If you have a group of 8-10, are looking for a unique alternative to downtown hotels, and have a sense of adventure, this is a great option for you. VERY close to BC Place, Rogers Arena & Cirque de Soleil. Boat is at the end of the marina with stellar unobstructed views of the water and skyline. Fantastic, wide open common spaces for conversations/games/meals. Downsides include: 1) you'll need to bundle up in the common areas during colder months (private rooms are quite toasty); 2) you'll need to space out showers as hot water is in short supply; 3) the plumbing is boat plumbing, so quite finicky; and 4) overall cleanliness is fair to partly cloudy. If you go into this remembering this is a boat and not a swanky hotel, you can save money on your stay, enjoy your stay with a large group of friends, and have a great story to tell. We stayed 2 nights for a Bruce Springsteen concert and to experience the city, and left with smiles on our faces.
