Uvita, Costa Rica we are centrally located on the Pacific Coast so you can easily do day trips North to Manual Antonio or south to the Osa Penisula. Uvita is home to the best beaches including Ballena Bahia or Whales Tail Beach & National Park. The whales spend a longer time here than any other area in the world!

The quaint beach town of Uvita and the lovely beaches of Playa Ballena, Playa Colonia, and Playa Hermosa are a 5 minute drive from your Casita. Dominical, the popular surf town with its funky bohemian beach bar vibe, is a 12 minute drive north.

Our location allows quick and easy access to 11 different beaches, 8 waterfalls, grocery stores, restaurants, banks, and many adventures.

Surrounded by a protected wildlife corridor and nature park and at the end of a private road. Explore the hiking trails, take a birdwatching tour, guided hike with naturalists, horseback riding, or mountain bike rentals and trails. You will be infused with nature with the magical combination of the river and jungle attracting tons of Costa Rica's amazing wildlife!

Each villa perfectly accommodates 2 people and is thoughtfully furnished with queen-sized bed, a locally made dining table for 2, a bathroom with a granite sink, a powerful large shower, & Wi-Fi. The kitchen is complete with all the necessary utensils you require to cook your perfect meal and includes, dishes, an electric cooktop, full-sized fridge, microwave oven, a toaster, and a coffeemaker. Don't feel like cooking there are ample food delivery options and dozens of restaurants only minutes away!

Outside your villa, you will enjoy the lush tropical plants and trees that surround Casita Del Rio which attract a lot of amazing birds!

Hear the Congo monkeys howl, watch the toucans fly from tree to tree, and dip your toes in the cascading ripples of the river right in front of your porch. We have a 50ft pool for you to relax in, or take a stroll upriver to discover a hidden waterfall and more natural swimming holes.

Need more space, we have a total of 5 villas! We take bookings for individuals, families, or groups. You could even rent all 5 Casitas for a private family or friend getaway, or an intimate wedding ceremony.
