Villa Doce Vida is located on absolutely private grounds of 850 m², surrounded by a mature garden. From the terrace you can enjoy a spectacular view across the harbour bay, the ocean and the town of Lagos. The centre of town and the beach Meia Praia are just 2.5 km away, so you can enjoy the quietness of your villa, but reach town and beach in a few minutes. The interior of the villa, with a habitation area of 143 m², is beautifully decorated with art work and furnished in a very tasteful way. The terracotta-tiled terrace faces towards the south is partly covered with a floating swimming pool of 10.5 x 5 m at this level. Sun chairs and garden furniture are available.
The villa consists of a living/dining room with fireplace, Satellite TV, DVD Player and stereo unit with CD. French windows give a freely view to the pool and the ocean. The kitchen is fully equipped, a washing machine is available. There are three bedrooms with access to the terrace. The master bedroom has a double bed and a bath en-suite with tub and shower. The other two double bedrooms share a bathroom with shower. The villa is equipped with floor heating (gas), safe and fly screens in the bedrooms and bathrooms.
Note: the costs for the gas and the wood for the fireplace are not included in the rates in the months of November to April and must be paid in cash on site according to consumption.

Great location

Beautiful surroundings and great location for day trips. The house was very nice and the outdoor area was extremely enjoyable. The property manager was very attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Quiet and astonishing view.

Quite comfortabele house with a lovely swimming pool. Kitchen is oké and equipped with all the necessary things. BBQ is great and at night the pool is illuminated. Just 15 minutes walking to the beach. Sun till 19:00 hours in October on the spacey terras.

Just what we wanted

This location was exactly as presented in the listing, and was perfect for our needs. Beautiful views of the ocean and Lagos from the pool deck were a welcome start and end to each day. While a car is needed to get to town and local sights, it doesn't take long to get to the beach, into Lagos, or to the highway. There is also an excellent new grocery store quite nearby. We enjoyed our time here with a three-generation family group. Each of us had access to the pool deck from our comfortable rooms. The living room opens onto the patio as well. The kitchen is smaller but well appointed and everything is in good condition. There is gated parking available. The host was friendly and clear regarding arrivals and departures. We would definitely consider going back to Lagos and would return to this villa townaccess is ready

host asked our group to go straight to property which we did but was surprised there was not even any milk to make a hot drink beds were not made and only two towels for entire week as the rest of the linens were locked away we had to clean up a daily what looked like fox pou which was deposited on the terrace outdoor furniture tired and white plastic beds dirty could not move the single umbrella this villa is not child or elderly safe as no handle into pool and after 4th step it is a sheer drop into the pool I am 5ft 3inch and I was on my tip toe to reach the bottom plus the stone steps leading to the cellar where the washing machine is from the kitchen was u guarded and the third bedroom is a single bed with a small pull out bed the toilet broke and I had to negotiate with host for a plumber to come out that day as she just shrugged saying it was not her fault and I had to explain I did not want the male in the group coming into my bedroom in the night to use my ensuite but it did not get onto a very good start when we pulled up and saw the sour face of host It was a lovely view but certainly not luxury as there was not enough fans for every room

Schön wars…

Das waren für uns perfekte 7 Tage in einem wundervollen Haus in welchem wir uns sofort wohlfühlten. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin und die Schlüsselübergabe hat super geklappt. Das Haus bietet viel Privatsphäre was wir morgens und nach einem Strandtag sehr genossen. Toller Pool!

ruhige Lage, toller Blick

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und haben besonders den Ausblick genossen. Das Haus ist gemütlich und ruhig, wir durften Sonnenschirme und Wellenbretter mitbenutzen und konnten vom Haus aus viele Ausflüge an verschiedene Strände machen- tolle Lage. Der Ort Lagos ist schön, lebendig und mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Tolles Haus mit Meerblick

Wunderschönes Haus mit allem was man braucht. Der Infinity-Pool, ca 10 m lang war super, sauber und das Wasser von 20 -24 Uhr beleuchtet. Die Sicht aufs Meer und auf Lagos super schön. Unsere Gastgeberin, Britta war immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Lagos, in unmittelbare Nähe ist schön, lebendig und hat tolle Gässchen und Restaurants. Alles Bestens - sehr zu empfehlen!

Schönes Ferienhaus

Das Haus ist wunderschön und toll ausgestattet. Es fehlte an Nichts. Der Weg zum Strand war weiter als gedacht. Eigentlich muss man das Auto benutzen. Das einzige Manko war eine Maus oder ähnliches, die zwischen Dach und Schlafzimmerdecke lebte und uns nachts mit Kratzen, Nagen und Rennen wach hielt.

Quiet,Beautiful views and ocean breezes

Villa Doce provided a wonderful home base for us as we explored the Algarve region of Portugal. The house has incredible views, a great pool and deck area with doors opening from every part of the house to the beautiful landscape beyond. It was a 20 minute walk to Praia Meia down a well worn path. The beach has soft sand extending to Lagos and Portamaio with clear blue waters. Exploring other parts of the region was easy by car and many beautiful towns and beaches were within 30 km. My only recommendation would be that the host provided newer towels and linens, toilet paper and basic toiletries. The outdoor shower had very little water pressure and unfortunately was not useful for taking a full shower. Our stay here was wonderful and we would definitely return!

Beautiful villa with amazing views and pool

The villa is really well equipped and comfortable. It is in a peaceful neighbourhood up on a hill and is private. We had a car which you probably need as it is a 5 min drive down to the marina. Good WiFi. Great place to stay and would definitely come back.

Wunderbarer Urlaub in absoluten Wohlfühlhaus

Das Ferienhaus hat unsere Erwartung übertroffen. Wunderschöner Blick über Lagos und die Küste, uneinsehbares Grundstück und viel Platz. Dazu top gepflegt und sauber. Frau Mareirros war für uns jederzeit ansprechbar und hat sich um unsere Anliegen gekümmert. TOP!

Traumhafte Villa in toller Lage

Wir haben als Familie eine tolle Woche in der Villa verbracht. Die Aussicht ist sagenhaft, von jedem Zimmer kann man das Meer sehen. Supermarkt, Marina, Strand sind mit dem Auto blitzschnell zu erreichen. Wir würden sofort wieder buchen!

Super Ferienhaus und toller Service!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Objekt hat eine traumhafte ruhige Lage mit Meerblick. Die Stadt Lagos ist gut zu erreichen und den Strand erreicht man in 10 Minuten zu Fuß.

Relaxing secluded holiday with a great view.

The villa is positioned on the hills behind Meia Praia just outside Lagos, in a culdesac - quite secluded but only 5 mins down to the marina or beach by car. Very relaxing holiday with lovely open views. Pingo Doce supermarket is also just 5 mins away nr the marina. Loads of places to eat around the marina which were reasonably priced, and also in the town of Lagos itself. Plenty of room in the 3 bed villa, which was very clean but we thought the 2 bathrooms needed updating aswell as the kitchen cupboards which had also seen better days. We knew there was no air/con in the villa, but we thought there should have been a few electric fans available at least which are relatively cheap to supply considering the price we paid to rent the villa for two weeks in the peak period. The only other problem we had there (not the fault of the owner), was a group of people in the large villa directly behind, Casa Romano, partying every night of our second week until late, with very loud shouting, singing/karaoke and just generally loud overall which was very annoying. Beside that though we thoroughly enjoyed the two weeks. We were told when the cleaner would be calling in, Sunday, but would be nice to know when the pool guy and the gardener was calling.

Great stay

We had a very nice family vacation staying at this villa. The view is very nice, as is the house. It is located on a dead end street so very quiet with zero traffic noise. The service by the property management was excellent. If you want to stay in the Lagos area this property is a great option.

Alle Erwartungen für dieses schöne Ferienhaus wurden erfüllt.

Dieses Ferienhaus befindet sich in einer wunderbaren Hanglage mit Aussicht auf das Meer oder Lagos und liegt absolut ruhig. Die große Terrasse ist von jedem Zimmer aus zugänglich. Die Küche ist großzügig und gut ausgestattet. Die Betten sind bequem, Moskitonetze vorhanden. Der Pool ist schön angelegt ohne den Blick auf die Aussicht zu nehmen. Mit der Betreuung vor Ort waren wir sehr zufrieden. Unsere Wünsche wurden alle erfüllt. Das Haus war überall sauber, nach einer Woche erfolgte die Zwischenreinigung und der Wäschewechsel. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
