Leave all your stress and worries behind at this private and tranquil 2 story log cabin getaway... from the change of seasons, beautiful mountain views for days, privacy on acreage, a huge yard for your animals & children, the waterfall with observation deck, a stream to hike to and splash around in or look for salamanders & crawdads, over 2 acres of hiking trails, a giant slate stone fire-pit begging for s'mores & hotdogs, a big upper deck to watch the night sky to get lost in and the nonstop abundance of animal wildlife!
And if that's not enough... Fall Creek Falls is only 10 minutes away! The cabin includes the entire upstairs which is an open themed concept and also half of the finished downstairs (which is only accessible by the outside staircase) that include another bedroom, a separate sleeping nook, a mud/game room and laundry area will be yours to access as you wish the other half of the garage is private storage. Please respect the property as if it was your own home. This is a smoke free home, please do not smoke close to the front door and keep it on the back side of the deck or in the yard and dispose of cigarette butts or cigars properly. If the presence of smoke is found inside the cabin, there will be a $395 fee added for the extra cleaning it will take to assure there are no smells for the next guests. There is a 7 guest maximum at the cabin, there’s a $25 fee per guest each night after 4 guests. Also please no extra visitors unless they are on the original renting request. Please clean up after yourself, children and or animals and please do not leave your animals in the cabin alone or unattended. Feel free to explore the trails and property but be safe as there are drop offs and bluffs throughout the property and at the lookout bluff. Also respect the property lines as there are other property owners in the surrounding areas. Please gather fallen trees, limbs and sticks for firewood but practice safety when chopping and respect mother nature and her surroundings and please do not chop any live trees down. Always be careful while using the firepits and or grill and always extinguish the fire and or turn off propane and please make sure the firepit is put out properly the night before your departure to assure the coals are fully extinguished. Also please no hunting on the property, thank you.

Slice of Heaven

Michael, our host, is a great guy. So friendly and welcoming! By far the cleanest and most well appointed property we have ever stayed in! He provided every amenity! (Even s’mores supplies and a “Halloween party” on the Alexa! The property itself is top notch! Amazing views off the bluff and down by the waterfall, secluded for privacy, well decorated and stocked with everything one could need. We highly recommend staying here! We will be back for sure!

Exceeded our expectations!

We had a short but wonderful stay at this amazing property. The cabin is small but so well thought out. Every inch of space is maximized. We stayed for our Fall Break and it was nicely decorated for Fall and Halloween. The check-in instructions were accurate and easy to follow. Michael checked in with us prior to our arrival and was available for any questions I had. The property is gorgeous. We enjoyed the views from the bluff, making s’mores and the wildlife. There were a lot of board games in the cabin and the beds were comfortable. There was an amazing coffee bar for mornings as well. We had all we could want. Fall Creek Falls is just a short drive away and we were able to spend the day hiking and exploring and then cane back to the cabin to roast hot dogs and marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit. Go ahead and book this property. You will not be disappointed!

We were fortunate enough to spot some wildlife and explore several nearby waterfalls, which made our stay even more memorable. The cabin itself was cozy, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed. It was clear that the hosts put a lot of care into ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway, and we highly recommend this property to anyone looking to relax and immerse themselves in nature.

Beautiful, private property

The property is amazing. There is a ton of outdoor space with a miles-long view from the bluff in addition to a deck over a waterfall. The cabin is comfortable and the deck is a perfect place to hang out. Our family of 5 had a great time over a long weekend, taking advantage of the local hikes.

About the host

I'm originally born and raised in Florida... I love to make other's smile & laugh and I have a passion for traveling, exploring, understanding other cultures, music & food, photography, art, coffee lover, anything with a motor and plain out just enjoying life & all the little things that come with it! I plan to keep seeking out adventures and visiting all of the beautiful places this world has to offer. And now I'm opening up my beautiful cabin for others to enjoy it as much as I have! Welcome!

Why they chose this property

It's just a very special, beautiful & private place to be and enjoy the great outdoors and each other's company. You cannot properly enjoy or respect the beauty of this property until you see it with your own eyes. And it's so close to my favorite State Park, the beautiful Fall Creek Falls!

What makes this property unique

The mountain views are breath taking, whether it be watching the sunrise at the Bluff View with a hot cup of coffee in the morning or watching the orange and cotton candy-colored skies behind the cabin in the evening over the mountain while the night sky comes alive with millions of twinkling stars on display for your viewing pleasure. Or it could be the sound of the waterfall from the deck or the lower observation deck... or the serenity of the peaceful and quiet trails as you take a stroll through the woods. Or maybe roasting some S'mores or hotdogs over giant the Slate stone fire-pit! The possibilities are endless here but definitely a place to relax and unwind from all of the stress of the real world. And if the property is not enough for you... Fall Creek Falls State Park is only a ten-minute drive away!
