About the host
Your host
I am originally from Alberta, Canada. I bought the property in 2020 sight unseen, and underwent a massive house renovation, and then started to build the two cottages. I moved down permanently in 2021, and opened the B&B for business May 2022.
Why they chose this property
This is the best street! There are 13 houses on the street, and most of us are retired or work from home, so we all have a personal interest in ensuring the street looks its best. I love the herd of deer that roam through, that there are no street lights, and the giant oak trees with their large shade canopies.
What makes this property unique
I love the deer and the quiet away from the hustle and bustle of town. The two private cottages on site, the quiet, hot tub-- and an amazing breakfast delivered to your door is nothing short of best kind of pampering. We also have event space here at The Virginia May, and have hosted weddings, anniversary parties, birthdays, private dinners, ladies night, pajama parties. You name it we can do it!
