From Memorial Day until Labor Day we rent SUNDAY TO SUNDAY.

Come have a fabulous vacation at the beach in this nicely furnished, comfortable, well equipped, light and airy home. Watch the seagulls play and dolphins swim from the porch swing over looking the Atlantic Ocean. The home has central A/C, 4 cable TVs, fully equipped kitchen, washer and drier, and enclosed outdoor shower. There are 3 queen beds, 1 double, 2 twins as well.

Had a great stay. Loved the location. Furnished with anything we needed. Tub could've been cleaner. Recliner in living room was broken and shouldnt have been there. Very bad mold and neat soiding door. Overall great stay.

Nice relaxing getaway

House was right on the beach , and easy access from the new deck straight to the beach. When we go to Surfcity for vacation or a weekend getaway I love this house it’s very close to a lot of nice restaurants so you never have to leave the island. I highly recommend this house if you’re looking for a vacation place or anytime if you want to getaway. It’s well worth the money .

So Fun

The house was so welcoming and very well stocked. Exactly as advertised! I sincerely hope we have an opportunity to stay here again!!! My son was home from deployment in the Army (on leave). He said mama “best Thanksgiving ever”

PORCH A PLUS !!!

Positives : Large well built Shade porch with swing and chairs with great disability! Upstairs is wonderful but not usable due to TOO HARD TO Get up and down ( very NARROW) Negatives: 1-spiral stairs too narrow hard to get up and down 2- Pressure in shower middle bathroom too little water 3- PLEASE note about using controls for All TVS cause upstairs did not work, bedrooms did not work snd living room worked but had to talk into to get it to work after owner quickly told us how.. Suggestions: could use larger better frying pan and a big Shrimp Boil pot…. All in All GREAT HOUSE—-Will be back if rentable ?

Wonderful family home

This house had all we needed to celebrate a birthday weekend with 6 people plus a dog, age range 11 to 78. The porch right by the surf was fantastic! It also had porch gates all around. Kitchen was set up to cook all our meals. Great place.

We absolutely love our stay. The view was amazing. Spent most of our time on the beach or on their porch. Quick responce from the owner when I had a question. Would love to go back. Highly recommend.

Wonderful old-school TI beach house LITERALLY on the beach

We've wanted to stay at the Whale Tale for years and our trip this past weekend met or exceeded all expectations. Angela's house is spacious, clean, well-appointed, and had such a great vibe. We have stayed beach-front before, but the Whale Tale is next level, due in part to being located on the ocean side of the dunes. We had to doggos with us and the wrap-around porch had gates, giving them free roam and still being safe. The back stairs literally put you ON THE BEACH. So nice for taking them on walks! Our only regret was not getting to stay longer. Wonderful home. Wonderful host!

When we arrived. We where right on the beach. That was the greatest. Beach was not crowded at all the whole time we were there. Loved it. We will be back. Sun rise was the best. We had a great time.

Older home but still beautiful. Closest we have ever been on the beach. High tide waves went under the house. Really enjoyed ourselves. The only problem was not being able to put our clothes in the dressers. All were full of junk so we couldn’t use them

Location, location, location!!

-Check in was a breeze. -Having linens and towels provided was so helpful. -The host provided many little extras such as toilet paper and paper towels (and requests that you refill enough to get the next guests started, which is really nice), spices, some beach items, etc. The only thing I would have liked to have was a hand mixer (for baking cookies and cakes) and a traditional blender (we usually make homemade milkshakes while we are at the beach). Not a big deal, though. -The host was extremely responsive and offered to make suggestions for restaurants, etc., but was not intrusive at all. -Having a deck that was partly covered and partly open was really nice—and the porch swing was AMAZING!!! -Everything in the house worked as it should. (We did not use the upstairs, so I can’t speak for that part of the house). -The outdoor shower is wonderful. I actually only used the inside one once after is realized how nice the outside one is! -My only suggestion would be replacing some pillows and mattress pads, some of which are stained and look dirty. Overall, the house has everything you need. The host is exceptionally responsive and receptive and will work with you on any questions you have. But the location absolutely can’t be beat. You’re literally ON the beach—the water can come up under the deck during high tide. The beach itself is clean and there is plenty of room to stretch out. We enjoyed our 2 weeks here and the only complaint is that it ended too soon!!

Perfect Location

My husband and I and our pup had another wonderful stay at this beach house. This is actually our third stay and only wish it could have been longer! Wonderful experience.. everything we needed for a great weekend at the beach . Great location and all the necessities needed for a relaxing weekend....literally right on the beach.. Great experience as far as the booking experience also which went so smoothly. We booked for another visit in a few months ...looking forward to another great time

Phenomenal Location

You can't beat the location of this home. Fantastic views, close to restaurants, shops and entertainment. There is a linen service! I was mislead by the auto attachment that indicated we had to wash and dry our sheets before leaving. This is a pet friendly house but you could not tell! House had puppy gates for use if needed. We only used first floor. Upstairs balcony is inaccessible but main deck offered plenty of views. Would certainly stay here again!

I love to sit on the porch swing at this beach house and watch as the seagulls and dophins play. I often spending time here with my children and grandchildren building memories that will last for generations.

Mother passed away at the beginning of 2018 and I cannot bring myself to delete her description. This home has been in our family more than 40 years and we hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do!
