About the host
Hosted by Cynthia Kula

We are from California (Cynthia) and Chicago (Ken) and fell in love with New Orleans when our daughter decided to attend Tulane University. We are delighted to accommodate guests who want to enjoy all New Orleans has to offer, while respecting our house, our neighbors, and our property rules. This is a family home, and we have close neighbors on three sides with whom we communicate regularly.
Why they chose this property
The Irish Channel is a historic district in the Lower Garden District. It is filled with colorful, traditional homes and active neighbors who walk their dogs and enjoy peaceful evenings on the porch. It is a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Magazine Street and the breweries around Tchoupitoulis. It is an easy Uber to the Central Business District (CBD) and French Quarter, and going the other direction you can walk or Uber along Magazine or St. Charles to see the stately homes in the Uptown district ending up at the beautiful Audubon Park across from Tulane University. Magazine Street is filled with shops, restaurants, bars, and other businesses. The St. Charles St. trolley is a 15-20 minute walk away.
What makes this property unique
Our home is unique with a new built in saltwater pool. We do not heat the pool, so it may be best enjoyed in late spring through early fall.
