About this property

Cozy, NEW log cabin on Fahi Pond! Right on ATV trail through Kennebec Valley.

Welcome to The Maine Embrace. Our Cozy lakeside home is a little slice of heaven! Situated on 1.5 acres with no neighbors for the ultimate in privacy. A wooden boardwalk takes you from the house to the dock & pond. Beautiful mountain views and crystal, clear water. Two Kayaks are available for your enjoyment as well as a large floating mat for some sun tanning! Boat launch is just steps away. Speedboats are prohibited so the lake is super quiet and peaceful.

Want to Hike, Ice fish (pond is stocked,) ATV, snowmobile, X-Country ski or Snow Shoe? Trails are right outside the front door or ski right onto the frozen lake from the back door. Sugarloaf Ski Resort is 40 min away and many others in the surrounding area.

Just bring yourselves, beach towels, firewood and some groceries! We have the rest covered. Coffee pot and coffee provided.

Quick Stay

We came up to see a local Lakewood Theatre production. My daughter went to camp at Lakewood Young Performer’s Camp all week and it culminated in a production on Saturday morning. Though we didn’t stay long, we quite enjoyed our stay! The property is beautiful and clean. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Very nice stay

We had a very pleasant stay at the Maine Embrace. Well appointed house, room for everyone. Kids enjoyed floating mat and kayaks on the lake. A table outside would be a nice addition to enjoy the lovely deck and backyard. Thank you Kerrie!

This cabin was a nature lovers oasis. We took my parents here for their anniversary and everyone was just blown away at the cozy aesthetic, the cleanliness, and the hospitality the hosts provided in this little house in the woods. Kerrie was so prompt and kind in answering any questions we had. I really cannot express how much of an amazing experience we had here not our gratitude for sharing their gorgeous home with us for these past few days.

Born and raised in New England. I grew up going to Maine for years. Then after I was married and had a family, we would come up often as well. After losing my husband suddenly, I decided I needed a place to get away from everything and everyone. I just happened to stumble on this cabin and it’s been the perfect spot to heal my broken heart. Since I can’t always be here, I thought it would be nice to share it with others.
