"Joyful Memories" ...Beautiful 4/2 Pool Home, Country Setting, Yet Close To All!

Looking for that perfect family getaway out in the woods, yet still close to town and the beaches? Look no further than Joyful Memories! Our wonderful home is situated on 1.5 wooded acres, featuring a beautiful screened pool, large fenced backyard, and there's a freshwater canal at the back end of the property- perfect for catching Peacock Bass, or just relaxing by the water. 4 bedrooms, with the primary featuring a KING SIZED BED, and a Queen Size in one of the other 3 bedrooms. There is bedding for up to 8 guests. There's also a fire pit for relaxing around the fire and watching the amazing night skies. We also have 6 friendly chickens to give you fresh eggs! Plenty of parking for your larger family gatherings as well. We're only 2 miles away from the nearest grocery store (Publix), 20-30 minutes from the beaches and boat ramp. Speaking of boating, the owner is a USCG Licensed Master Captain and can assist you with navigating the waterways if you decide you want to rent a boat and enjoy a day on the water!

Wonderful stay for the family!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay for the long weekend. We had been looking for a place that could accommodate our family group in a nice, quiet area and this fit the bill perfectly. The house is finished with so many wonderful details, and the kitchen is stocked with so many extras. Our kids baked cookies and made waffles for breakfast, played some of the many board games provided, made s’mores in the bonfire, and of course spent most of their time in the pool. The chickens were also a great hit for the kids and the fresh eggs were unbeatable! The BBQ was also great for grilling outside in the screened patio. The house was easily accessible from the expressway. We had thought to drive to the beach, which isn’t a long drive from the house, but we were enjoying it so much, that we decided to stay in all weekend. We did drive through Ave Maria on our way out, which was about a 30 minute drive, and we enjoyed that. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Kerrick and his wife were extremely welcoming and kept excellent communication. We hope to be back!!

The property was even more welcoming than the pictures indicated. My son and his wife arrived first and were promptly greeted by the hosts, who offered to run errands or help out in whatever way necessary to make their stay the most enjoyable. Everything needed was provided to ensure and wonderful experience.

My wife and I have lived in SW Florida since 2002, and love all thing Florida has to offer... boating, beaches, fishing, camping, hiking. We have 2 kids who have recently flown from the nest, and wanted to find a way to make the best use of our former family home.

Why they chose this property

This was our home for the past few years until the youngest left for college, and my wife and I discovered we didn't need as much space now that it's just the 2 of us (well, plus the dog, cats, and our chickens). We've loved living out here in the peaceful quiet woods neighborhood, and now we want to share that with our guests.

What makes this property unique

Quiet country feel, yet still close to everything you want... beaches within 30 minutes, groceries just a mile away, and easy access to the main highways. This is your perfect tropical rural paradise, with palm trees, palmetto, tall pines, and cypress. Relax around the fire, or poolside, or enjoy the peace and quiet down by the water at the back of the property.
