About this property

Comfortable one bedroom with a queen size bed, fully equipped kitchen, dinning area and living room. The sofa in the living room is a great spot to relax and watch Youtube television and Netflicks or use the free wifi. A full size washer and dryer in the utility room makes laundry a snap and the front porch swing is a great spot to watch the golfers. We offer a daily unlimited golf and cart special to our guests that is very popular.
Our location is about one mile from the Rainbow River State Park and the head spring for the Rainbow River. There is room to park a boat and trailer on the property for guests coming to enjoy the river.

Quiet golf getaway

We love coming to the property to get a super quiet break from people & tune up our golf game. When we stay at the property, we golf the course all day for the 1 time fee of $22. It is a challenging 9 hole, par 36 course that is a great way to get your swing & putting dialed in. There have been days that we played 54 holes! The golf shop has great prices & a decent selection of food, beverages & merchandise. By around 7:00 PM we are virtually the only people in sight (unless the other half of the duplex is rented). for dinner, we either drive to town or (as we usually do) use the kitchen and/or grill to cook dinner, and eat on the front porch with the golf course as our view. We are always glad we came, and sometimes extend our stay a day or two when the unit will be vacant.

Rainbow River State Park

Everything was as sated in listing. Very convenient loc to springs, discount on golf, etc. What they didn’t say: VERY quiet neighborhood(!), the deer come by each evening, and A/C worked like brand new on one of the hottest days of the year for inland Central Florida (95+). Very nice, restful weekend. We will be back!

Birthday Getaway

It was very clean! The location was perfect my husband and I kicked ourselves for not bringing our bikes because the entrance to the Park is right there, but we hope to stay here again and bring our bikes and kayaks. It was honestly perfect for the long weekend trip we took to get away for our birthdays. Location was perfect now only if the rain would have stayed away.

We always come back!

I don't recall how many times we have stayed here but we have NEVER been disappointed. Quiet, clean, comfortable and friendly! The property is located on a great 9 hole course. We don't leave., we play all day, stop in for lunch, come home and grill. The stars are great at night and the course gives you a park like setting.

Quiet, relaxing golf setting.

Great place to unwind with a challenging 9 hole course and close to Rainbow Springs. This is my 3rd stay here over the holidays and each visit tops the past. The owners, clubhouse staff, and everyone on the course make you feel right at home. The duplex is always clean and has everything I need. If you are a single, or couple, I highly recommend staying at this property.

Cute but needs some love

Pros - Cute somewhat private place to stay right by rainbow river and had a very clean bathroom with fresh towels. Fridge was also very clean. Cons - Rental was hard to find at midnight and address took us to the clubhouse. Strange smell in the kitchen near sink, sheets had yellow stains on then, mattress was extremely uncomfortable and we could hear the other tenant snoring through the duplex wall behind our bed.

Golf-course unit a hole-in-one over hotels ⛳

This immaculate unit was perfect for my needs -- easy to find near clubhouse; about five minutes to Rainbow Springs State Park; and comfortable in every way. I loved being able to park in the driveway and bring my bike inside, and although I didn't use the full kitchen or watch TV, I appreciated these options. Communication with host Linda, who left lights on for my late arrival, was clear and welcoming. I'm looking forward to a longer stay.

Perfect for the 2 of us

The space was just right for the two of us for a short getaway to visit Rainbow Springs. The space was clean and comfortable. It was nice to have the kitchen to make meals. It’s a very beautiful area to take long walks and see the sunset behind the trees. If you’re looking for a quiet and clean place, this would be it. We’d be happy to stay here again if we come back to kayak in the Springs.

We Loved our stay. Linda was very kind and easy to communicate with. The place was So very clean. The location is fabulous, close to our float spot, and grocery stores. Being right on the golf course is so cool. It is very relaxing to sit and look out at the view. My husband played golf.

SUPER close to Rainbow Springs!

We are spring hoppers and always looking for a place close to the entrance so we don't have to wake up as early to get in line. This place is less than 2 miles from the Rainbow River entrance! That was the #1 reason we booked! If you are looking to go to the springs just stop here and go ahead and book! As far as the duplex itself- we were up early and home late so the golf carts were not an issue for us. The place is clean but older so if you are looking for something fancy pants this is not it. It is very clean and a great price though! The only we would have liked was a TV set up with the ability to access Netflix or something. We brought our own device though so we could do so but the TV situation is pretty outdated. You can easily bypass that with bringing something with you though.

Great time!!!

One of our favourite places to get away from the city. Always clean, safe and lots of fun. We golf all day. Rainbow River is less than a mile and breathtaking. We like quiet so prefer this to actually staying on the river and you cannot beat the price. Owners are always available. Great communication. Thanks guys!

Great place to stay!

We stayed for a weekend to visit rainbow springs. Super close to the park and to Walmart and Publix. The place is perfect size for 2 people maybe even a 3rd. It was impeccably clean the owner's were super friendly. We happened to stay on an evening where they had their night golf which was really cool to watch from the porch. We would definitely love to come back again!

Don and I have lived in Florida most of our lives and spent our careers in the golf industry. In 2010 we got the opportunity to buy Rainbow's End Golf Club, and have operated it ever since. At the time of purchase, there was a duplex unit on the property that was being used for storage. We remodeled both sides and opened them for short term rentals. Since that time we have welcomed many wonderful guests.

Why they chose this property

We love this area for it's natural beauty and small town charm. Not only does the golf course have 72 acres of rolling landscape, but we are within a mile of the Rainbow River. Marion County is also know for it's horse industry and has many beautiful horse farms.

What makes this property unique

This is a two unit duplex on the semi private Rainbow's End Golf Club. The course offers reasonable rates for daily play for either walking or riding. We are located about one mile from Rainbow Springs State Park, which is the head spring for the Rainbow River. The river is a beautiful natural wonder open for tubing, kayaking, boating and swimming.
