The space:
We do everything to make your stay comfortable. We live upstairs and you will always be able to reach us if you have any problems. We are a friendly international family of three, and we will be your best temporary neighbors :)
This is a classic duplex. It has a living room with a cozy sleeper sofa (for the 5th and 6th guests), a dining room, a kitchen with essential basics, one full bath with a tub, plus two bedrooms. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has a queen. The queen comes with a medium-firm mattress and the king with a medium memory foam. You can pick the room and mattress that suits your comfort. We also have a memory foam mattress topper for the queen bed if needed.

You will have private access to the entire lower apartment with a smart lock. We will give you a personal code. You have to go up five steps to the porch, and the entrance is the door on the left. The keypad for the smart lock is behind the storm door.
We have a washer and dryer in the basement. We can give you access to them as needed. Not full time available.
You can load, and unload your car in the driveway, but parking is on the street. Free parking.
Other things to note. Please read!
This house was built in the 1923. The age of this building gives its charm, but being made of wood it is also not completely soundproof. We are keeping our noise down as much as we can, specially at quiet hours. We consider the bedrooms as full time QUIET ZONES to ensure nobody's sleep is ever disturbed. We need you to keep this quiet rule as well. We have to sleep sometimes during the day. Some of our guests as well. It works just great. We ask to avoid conversations in the bedrooms and devices should be used with a headphone. Shoes are also meant to stay out in the hallway for multiple reasons. Thank you for your understanding.
We have a toddler being a toddler napping from 1 to 330 pm: quiet time.
We also work on weekends. We can't host parties or loud people.
After 9pm we require our guests to lower the noise.
The street and neighborhood is genuinely quiet at all time.
We also have noise machines in each room for guests who prefer to secure their undisturbed sleep.
