Stay in Crozet Mountain Suite in Downtown Crozet

There are two studio loft apartments on the second level of our building. The ground level is commercial space occupied by our real estate office, Stevens & Company. There are 21 fairly steep steps to the second level.

The second level was once a toy store and was renovated in 2005 into two apartments. Our studio apartment features an open living area separated into sitting area with sofa and comfy chair and sleeping area with queen-size bed. There is a wide-screen HDTV with Comcast Xfinity and local channels and wireless high-speed internet.

The full kitchen is open to the rest of the apartment and features a full-size refrigerator, stove and microwave. Stocked with dishes, glasses and cookware.

There is a full bath with stand-up shower. Towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided.

The building is a very short distance from the train tracks that pass through Crozet.

Great location in downtown Crozet!
Place was in a perfect location for food and wandering around. Room was nice, and as described. Clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Scent on linens from laundering was mild but still bothered my allergies. Not their fault, I am just very sensitive. Banana nut bread was a nice treat!

Cute spot near hiking and wineries
We only stayed one night en route to another destination, but it was very cute! It had everything you need plus it’s got good restaurants and coffee shops right next door. This would be a great place to stay if you were hiking and going to the nearby wineries!

Neighbors can make or break your stay
Two other couples I know have stayed here and enjoyed their stay. My husband and I loved the location, the bed was super comfortable, and overall it met our needs. The only issue (and it was a big one) was the other group in the unit next door. Our neighbors were smoking weed, shouting and partying late on Friday and Saturday nights. It really ruined our sleep both nights. If I stayed here again, it would be if I knew the other group and had confidence they would be quieter neighbors.

Perfect for a get away weekend to visit with my daughter at UVA
The check in process and communication with the owner could not have been easier. And upon arrival, we were thrilled with the cleanliness and all the fine touches the apartment has to offer. The location was great - Crozet is such a quaint town and close to Charlottesville, but far enough so my daughter could also enjoy a break away from campus life! We'll be back!

Convenient - Well Appointed
We stayed 2 nights. Check in was very straightforward as was the property description. The coffee shop downstairs and Fardowner’s restaurant were both excellent. We appreciated the amenities in the bathroom - soap, shampoo, toothpaste and anything else a traveller might need. Although we did not bring our dog, there were bowls, toys and biscuits for the canine traveller.

Perfect Place
Peefect location in the center of Crozet above a coffee shop and breakfast diner with an amazing pizza shop and another breakfast place across the street. Easy check in with parking right out front. The unit was clean and spacious and even has a nice little bistro table for those who want to prepare or bring back food for a nice romantic dinner. I will definitely stay again when in the area.

Perfect Location
If you want to explore Crozet, this is the perfect place! This apartment was in the heart of town, where you are within walking distance to a handful of restaurants and coffee shops. Not to mention great breweries and vineyards that are only a very short car ride away. The apartment has everything you could possibly need, including a fresh loaf of banana bread waiting for you upon arrival. The detailed touches were appreciated! Charlottesville is only 20 minutes away, which made it very convenient to go catch a UVA baseball game during our stay. Crozet is such a cute little town and so fun to explore, and convenient to everything. This apartment is the perfect home base! Host was very kind and communicative — highly recommend!

Fantastic stay!
This is a great home-base - a number of walkable places nearby, but also so easy to drive further out. The apartment had all the basic amenities and was very cozy. My only tiny complaint was that the sheets were polyester and slid around a lot. But, still so glad I stayed here for my little getaway!

Lovely setting, convenient location
We attended a wedding at Montfair Farm and were looking for a nice quiet room close by, preferably with a place to have breakfast and lunch before the wedding. The Square in Crozet provided us with very good choices for meals. The Mountain Suite was comfortable and clean. And the banana bread was very good! Only wish there had been hangers for wedding clothes, instead of just hooks.

Stay in Crozet was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. My husband and I attended a wedding at a vineyard that was only five minutes away and this was the perfect spot to stay! Lovely place to stay
It was very clean, nicely appointed. Plenty of space and great, high ceilings. Felt very comfortable. Nice little kitchen with full refrigerator and stove. Wish the shower was a little less tight, and neither of us are large people. We did have some problems sleeping through the nights, which we finally figured out was the trains passing through at night, about 50 feet away. Those are the only two complaints, and there's not much to be done about the trains. Overall, great place to stay, we felt very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay! Beautifully decorated, super clean, extra toiletries were provided in case you forgot anything! The bed was super comfortable! Banana bread was left at our door which made for a fantastic late night snack after the local winery! The hosts were extremely accommodating to my needs! Will Def stay again! Oh and theres an awesome old town diner right around the corner (forgot the name). The food was delicious and actually homemade, breakfast or lunch served anytime of the day! Thank you!!!

My pup & I had a great stay at Amy’s studio. She responded very quickly to the few questions I had and left a delicious welcome gift from a local bakery. The space was spotless with very nice furnishings and decor. I didn’t cook any meals , but I certainly appreciated the fully stocked coffee bar! Easy parking directly out front. It was a peaceful setting, but still close (20 min.) to Charlottesville. Bonus for us; it’s only a 5 min. drive to the Crozet dog park! Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area!

We have five short term rental properties in the Crozet area - High Street Cottage, Mountain Suite, Train Suite, Carter Street and Sugar Hollow Outpost. We have several other rental properties in the Crozet area.

We live just outside of Crozet in the Sugar Hollow area of Albemarle County. We live on the Moormans River and love it! Hiking, biking, fishing and more are just outside our front door.

We have four mostly grown children and two dogs (Henry and Lucy) and two kitties (Chester and Lizzie).

Located right in the village of Crozet within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Only a quick drive to local vineyards and breweries as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway and hiking.
