About this property
ADK Getaway, As Seen in Travel+Leisure, Glampful
Glampful is a boutique, family-owned, and operated off-grid, eco-glamping experience in the Southern Adirondack Mountains, minutes from the Great Sacandaga Lake - the Adirondack's best-kept secret!
Great Sacandaga Lake is an undiscovered mecca for mindful activities from forest bathing to fishing. Glampful is uniquely positioned for family and friends to give each other the greatest gift of presence, among semi-private and secluded grounds.
The space
Glampful offers 8-Safari Canvas tents and a cottage on-site for guest access to Satellite internet, phone charging stations, newly renovated showers and toilets, and a continental breakfast every Saturday, and Sunday mornings that consists of locally-sourced pastries, fresh fruit, coffee, and assorted juices.
**This listing is for our Family Deluxe tent for up to 6 guests.
ALL TENTS & CAMPS INCLUDE: Rechargeable battery-powered lanterns, bath towels for the main shower facility, a 5-gallon tank of fresh potable water, all cooking equipment and utensils, propane cooking grills, fire pits, plush mattresses, and luxury linens.
Deep in our hearts is a desire to escape the day-to-day hum-drum. Nature offers the antidote to burnout. Adventure awaits you to step out of your comfort zone and expand your vision. Rest and restore yourself with an elevated camping experience (aka glamping) that allows you to retreat into nature without having to pitch your own tent.
Imagine a quintessential glamping site situated among 50 acres of meadows, a mature forest, a babbling brook, and a pond. Step out into the woods, follow marked trails and take in a natural forest bathing of your mind.
Or, if you get 'canvas cabin' fever, just minutes away from Glampful are many local area attractions and activities for guests to check off the summer bucket list:
- Great Sacandaga Lake, Broadalbin Beach, and the public boat launch,
- Outdoor Yoga,
- Perry's Sunflower Maze,
- Out of the Blue - Blueberry picking,
- Farmer's Markets
- Ozoner 29 Drive-In Movie Theater,
- Lucky E Rodeo,
- Great Sacandaga Brewing Company,
- Saratoga Springs and Saratoga Race Track,
- Multiple Antique Stores and Estate Sales
Guest access
We have a main parking area and check-in lodge with a camp store to buy essentials if you forgot to bring anything. The tents are a 5-minute walk from the check-in lodge. We have an onsite vehicle for ferrying belongings from the parking area to the site if necessary.
Other things to note
Please bring any camping and cold weather gear, food, and beverages that you would like to have with you during your stay. Guests may cook outdoors over the fire during good weather or with the BBQs with side burners located at each tent with cookware provided. The camp also has central cleaning stations for washing and cleaning up dishware.
Wild animals are present in the fields and woods. Guests are likely to see deer, fox, wild turkeys, and many other kinds of wild birds and small mammals. Coyotes, owls, and peepers (in Spring) can be heard at night.
We do everything possible to provide a clean and comfortable camp for our guests. Bugs and spiders will be visible at times. They are local residents in the forest.
We ask that all guests read and agree to our rules and terms and conditions before booking.
