A'von Welcome House & Urban Spa

A’von features a 6-person luxurious spa, 3 bedrooms including a king-size bedroom suite, 2 baths, deck with smoker/grill, gardens, laundry, and close proximity to ATL's legendary attractions. Your rental is newly renovated, situated near Madea’s famous historical house a mile or so from Tyler Perry's studio. It is 3 miles from the stadiums downtown, aquarium, Centennial Park, CNN, etc. Close to the Beltline, 2 miles to HBCUs, 4.5 miles to MLK’s district and close to the Airport & Marta.

The space:
As you walk in the front door, the alarm is on your left and you need to press the code immediately or the silent alarm will go off. Be aware, the prompt volume to disarm the alarm is not very loud so in the hustle of entering in, you may neglect disarming the alarm. If you enter through the rear of house (driveway parking), you will walk through the laundry room first (which has a fold up table for your convenience), then into the kitchen where the other alarm panel is located. Immediately press the alarm code to disarm.

Both doors (rear of house and front) have security gates which will be left unlocked during your stay. They are locked when no guests are staying at the home. Please be mindful to not inadvertently lock these gates during your stay because they require keyed entry however your entrance doors have electronic locks for your convenience. Should you inadvertently lock the security gates on the doors, this will require that you contact the host to get the key to you. This will take time and a real inconvenience so DO NOT LOCK THE METAL SECURITY GATES at the house.

As you walk through the laundry room you will see the sliding door for the spa, and the door to the kitchen. The kitchen has a pantry and all the utensils, pots & pans, and kitchen stuff that you will likely need. Check the lazy daisy corner cabinet for pots. Pans are located in the cabinet at the island. The thermostat is in the hallway. The middle bedroom is the master suite - it has its own full bathroom. The other full bath is at one end of the hallway. I recommend that our guest shut the bathroom door and turn on the exhaust fan after use. This effectively keeps the hall way located down the center of the house, pleasant.

Enjoy your stay. The backyard is available and allows for quiet contemplation. We have fig, plum, and pomegranate trees along with all the flowers, in their season of course. We are in the inner city in a mixed neighborhood. The people are humble and generally nice so extend peace and love to all even as we extend peace and love to you our guests and friends.

Guest access:
The only space unavailable to our guests is the basement crawlspace which has a door and will remain locked.

Other things to note:
This home is beloved because it is located so close to Madea's famous historical home. Tyler Perry's studio is a little more than a mile up the street. Your rental is a newly renovated historical home located 3 miles from downtown ATL (Mercedes Benz stadium, State Farm Arena, Centennial Park, Georgia Aquarium, CNN, etc.) and is close to MLK’s historic district, the airport & Marta. The newly developed “Beltline” (biking trail) is accessible a few blocks away from your rental. You are living in the heart of Atlanta in a 3Bd/2B home with 6-person high-end hot tub (music and LED lighting). The master bedroom features AICO’s super elegant Michael Amini Eden 4PC king size bedroom set. The other rooms beds are queen size. The lot the house is situated on is large, fenced in in back with parking (you may park in front of house too). It contains gardens, fruit trees, and a back deck with barbecue grill smoker. You are set up in comforts, great location, grill, peaceful escape, and a nice high-end spa with Bluetooth music and lighting.
