With 1 full bed, 1 king bed, and 1 twin bed, and a large living room with TV, there's plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. The farmhouse features modern amenities such as WiFi, and a laundry area with a full size washer and dryer. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with showers and hair dryers. Situated between Elk Mountain and Montage Mountain, close to many golf courses and Hurricane Hills Sports Center and just minutes from the Lackawanna State Park, this fully renovated but still charming farmhouse is a great find for sports enthusiasts. Please be advised that depending on the time of year, road maybe muddy or dusty. This home has no air conditioning but most nights in summer are cool.

Beautiful fall weekend stay in NEPA
We really loved our stay. This farmhouse is so charming, warm, quiet and beautiful! It also has anything you could want in a home rental--LOVE the keurig!! Yay! It suited our needs perfectly and the location is gorgeous! We cannot wait to come back!!

The check in was very easy. The property was immaculate and fully stocked with anything we needed. It was so close to Lackawanna State Park and only 15 minutes from Dickson City. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and relaxing
This historic, rural farmhouse was perfect for our family stay. Each room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans and dishes to prepare and eat meals. We liked the large living room area and the spacious screened in back porch to sit and visit with family that we hadn't seen in awhile. I would highly recommend this house for a relaxing, quiet stay located close to Lackawanna State Park.

Great Location
We stayed at the farmhouse while we were in the area for a family vacation. The house is charming and the property is gorgeous. The hosts were great and easy to communicate with. The house is in a great location. I would highly recommend the farmhouse and will definitely stay there again when I am in the area.

The best vacation house we ever stayed in
We (four adults) stayed for a weekend. The house was amazing. It was very well equipped, beautiful and pleasant, very clean, and very comfortable. The owners were super friendly and communicative. The location was perfect for us—quiet, immersed in nature, but not far from trails and attractions. We enjoyed every moment and hope to come back again.

Country retreat in the Poconos
Our family enjoyed our stay at the property. The farmhouse was roomy enough for all of us, and we enjoyed being close enough to Scranton to see some of the sights, but far enough away from the city to enjoy nature. Highly recommended!

Peaceful Getaway
Our family (including 2 young kids and a teenager) had a wonderful stay at this peaceful getaway. Beautiful and very quiet location with only a few cars passing by over the entire 3 days we were there. Comfortable beds, clean house, including bathrooms and kitchen. Our kids especially appreciated the cozy sunroom and large fields to run around in. Lynn was very nice, easy to work with, and responsive. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains.

Old Farmhouse
It's old so it's somewhat small and slightly crooked, but very clean. Plenty of room for 4 adults. The owners did a nice job of remodeling. Rural, on a quiet dirt road but 10 - 15 mins from stores. The property is incredibly nice and the owners aren't far off if you need anything. There was a mother/baby deer wandering the property and some turkeys as well. Overall it was a fantastic stay, thanks again.

Welcoming home in the woods!
My friends and I stayed in this welcoming home in the woods when we attended a ladies’ conference at Clarks Summit University. We had a fantastic stay! The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking down the lane and spotted deer multiple times. Lynn responded quickly when I had a question, and she thoughtfully baked us homemade blueberry muffins made with their own blueberries. We loved the spa-like shower and the wonderful smelling shampoo and conditioner! We would love to stay here again and highly recommend this home!

This home was purchased by my parents to use as a summer getaway from the city of Scranton. We hiked in the woods and swam in the larger of the two ponds when we were kids.

Why they chose this property

The property is large and rural. We enjoy being outside and breathing the fresh air. The screened-in porch offers the opportunity to do that without bugs.

What makes this property unique

Our rustic, but updated farmhouse had much to offer. It is located in a private location but close to parks, restaurants, shopping, ski slopes and golf courses. We have tried to think of everything that you would need. The house is complete with coffee and tea as well as personal care items like shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
