Fantastic beach house

This property has a great location. The owners are great to deal with. It's a little dated but the location, views and deck areas make up for this. I highly recommend this property.

Old and run down

The owner advertised this property as a Beautifully furnished inside and out on top level. It was not beautifully furnished. The furniture and bedding was old and outdated. Floor was sticky. Fans were dirty. Ants in bathroom. Really steep stairs to get up so beware of this in the event you have a disability. Keurig coffee maker but no pods. So cheap, there was only about 2 inches of soap in a plastic container in the shower. We had to buy some soap + Coffee pods next day. The only product stocked up on was Raid, and it smelled like it upon entering the unit. Sticks in the arcadia door to keep it locked. No screens on the windows. One lock on the front door that anyone with the code could potentially enter. I would not trust that the code had ever been changed. We propped the door with a chair. Rust throughout the unit. It looks like it had never been painted. I do not think in 50 years there had been one single upgrade. Dust and it appeared to be filthy. This unit being in a great location and right on the strand which yes, that was nice. The Wifi worked well and so did the TV. But, I do not appreciate being taken advantage of and the false advertising as it was NOT beautiful. We both were very uncomfortable. The bikes were with a flat tire. Obviously, he does not care about people coming back. My bad, because there was only one previous good review. We should not have stayed here. The owner was aggressive and intimidating in complaining to him. Scary.

Celebrating my mom’s life

It was the perfect day and perfect week. We felt mom, being a beach girl and working in Beverly Hills would have treasured. The views the beach and the sunsets. Thank you Gary for opening up your property to us.
