The Wedge House was a fun place for us

Perfect stay for us while visiting St Augustine. Close to downtown and other areas. The house was clean and well stocked. The hosts have thought of so many little touches as well. Host was easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

Best place for some peace and quiet

The house is just as described/pictured. Everything is very clean and convenient! Didn't use the kitchen on this stay but the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need! Firm comfortable mattresses! The host was also very nice and responded quickly. Highly recommend!

Such a beautifully designed, comfortable home. We could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. Hosts were very quick to respond to any questions. Home was super clean with great attention to detail. We said several times that the owners had to be travelers. Just really felt like a place designed by travelers for travelers. Fantastic stay! We would absolutely choose to stay here anytime we are in St. Augustine.

Fun Family Spring Break in St. Augustine

We really enjoyed our Florida staycation at the Wedge House. The house was clean and comfortable and SO funky and cute. It was also very well appointed… all the kitchen stuff we needed/wanted, places to put our feet up and cozy blankies for movie nights. The kitchen is open to the living area so you can easily chit chat while meal prepping. The bathrooms were super clean with everything you need so don’t bother trying to stuff any extra toiletries in your luggage. The house is close enough to all the St. Augustine attractions as well as the beach, but also gives you the chance to “go home” after an action packed day to relax in a clean and cozy, family friendly house. Plenty of cool selfie opportunities as well! ;) Friendly and responsive hosts too. If this house is on your list of “maybes” for a visit to the area, stop looking and say “yes”; you’ll love it!

Perfect home away from home

This was our families first Vrbo experience , & Jeremy and " the wedge" house was the perfect 1st experience! He was extremely quick to reply to any questions we had, and the home was very clean, well kept, and had pretty much everything we needed. The house is exactly as pictured, if not better. Every detail of this house from the many quirky /fun decorations, to the timed lights through out the house, the cute sitting areas outside, the very comfortable beds & pillows, were so well thought out. The neighborhood is a bit rough looking, but we never felt unsafe. You actually feel like you are in a different little world once inside. There is a train that goes by frequently ( it didn't bother us at all) & I loved hearing the roosters crow from the neighbors each morning! I highly recommend this adorable home, our entire family of 5 absolutely loved it! Well done Jeremy & Morris!

It's unfortunate that we can't give more stars. No words to describe how pleasant our stay was. The house is incredibly clean, I didn't find any defects in the house. Clean, organized, complete and very safe (something important for me). 6 minutes (driving) to the historic center), at the same time on a super, hyper quiet street. You don't have to worry about taking anything, because the house simply has EVERYTHING. I can say with complete certainty, from someone who takes 3 vacations a year, that this was one of the best stays I've ever had. Thank you so much Jeremy and Morris.

I moved to the city of Jacksonville 13 years ago from Los Angeles for a much needed change of pace. I remember the first time I visited Jacksonville on a trip from California visiting St Augustine. It was like nothing I had experienced before. My journey started at the rooftop at San Sebastian Winery and progressed to a stroll down St George street wondering in and out of the quaint little shops. I then had dinner at the famous Columbia Restaurant and then drinks at one of the local ale houses. The night ended with a fun and spooky walking ghost tour.

The next day I kept thinking about what an amazing experience I had on my St Augustine visit and how unique and different it was to the life I was accustomed to in LA. I told myself, one day I will own a piece of this beautiful historic city!

Fast forward to present day, I can't even believe I have made this dream a reality and I couldn't be more excited. I am an art major and graduated from one of the California art schools. When I laid eyes on this unique home I felt in my soul this would be the perfect blank canvas to transform into something amazing.

I spent every weekend at the house over the course of 3 months transforming the house into a piece of art now called the St Augustine Wedge House. This was a true escape and much needed refresh from my current career in the financial industry.

We are excited to take on this new adventure and share this funky space with our guests. I hope you feel the love and passion we put into this house and enjoy it as much as we do! Live life on the [W]edge :)

Why they chose this property

The house is located in the West King District which is just over a mile from the Historic District center. This is an up an coming eclectic neighborhood close to a few local breweries, coffee shops and cafes. I love the fact that it is close enough to be in the hustle and bustle of the historic city but just on the outskirts so you can easily get away from it all. Every 3rd Wednesday of the month they hold the West King market (walking distance from the house) which is an art and food market where all the local businesses on King Street open up and have vendors, art, food, etc for sale and often times live music.

The city is working hard to build up the area and several new businesses are moving in adding robust culture and opportunity to the city!

What makes this property unique

This is not just a typical house, it was designed and crafted with love and inspired by the local attractions and the vibrancy of Florida. It is filled with fun art and the rooms themselves are art installations crafted with my own hands and creative mind :)
