Everything is within reach at this spacious 3 bedroom apartment in our historic mining town. Our location is a great homebase for all of your outdoor adventures. The RAMBA trail network for mountain biking, trail running, and hiking is a five minute bike ride away, and access to snowmobile trails is just a few blocks away. Cross country skiing is available nearby at the UP Nordic Ski Complex.
Local favorites like Congress Pizza, Velodrome Coffee, West End Ski & Trail bike shop, and Rare Earth Goods Cafe are just steps away. Main Street has three antique stores to browse, and history buffs can check out the Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum and U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame and Museum, both in Ishpeming, and the Michigan Iron Industry Museum in nearby Negaunee.
Our property feels like home, super clean and comfortable. This apartment has a brand new shower, new countertops, and is decorated very tastefully. It is located in a quiet area in downtown Ishpeming - a small city of around 6,000 people, surrounded by miles of hiking & biking trails, with a small, walkable downtown.
The apartment has 3 bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with a full-sized bed, and one bathroom with a shower.
This unit has a large eat-in kitchen, plus a small fenced-in yard. Living room has a Roku TV so you can relax and watch your favorite shows after a long day of playing outside.
Children and babies are allowed, however our unit is not child-proofed, nor do we supply any baby or child-care items.
The back unit has a private guest entrance. Parking is in a surface lot on-site with room for several vehicles. Secure bike storage is available. Washer and dryer are shared with other guests in the basement.

About the host
Hosted by Spencer Prusi

I'm the owner of West End Ski & Trail, a bike and trail sports shop in Ishpeming. Our shop's first location was the front unit at this property! I'm enthusiastic about trails and introducing people to this awesome community. We can offer rentals for mountain bikes, fat bikes, and bike path e-bikes, as well as guided mountain bike tours.
Why they chose this property
Downtown Ishpeming is a great hub for outside activity! We are close to the RAMBA trail network, which has 80 miles of singletrack for mountain biking, hiking, and trail running. In the winter, the trails are groomed for fat biking and snowshoeing. Snowmobile trails go through town, and for cross-country skiing, the UP Nordic Ski Complex is a couple minute drive away.
Ishpeming is only a 15 minute drive from Marquette, where you'll find even more trails and opportunities for outdoor activities year-round. The Iron Ore Heritage Rail Trail connects the two communities.

What makes this property unique
Our property is located right in downtown Ishpeming, one block off Main St. We are an amazing homebase for all of your adventures. Don't want to drive? We are walking distance from Velodrome Coffee, Rare Earth Goods Cafe, Congress Pizza, Mamma Mia's Italian restaurant, Buck's Restaurant, Buck's Subs, and Ish Creamery. Also nearby are a number of antique shops, a pharmacy, grocery store, etc.
