Peaceful, bright, zen, modern detached home in Noe Valley with lots of space for up to 8 people. Also great spot for smaller groups or business travelers to feel truly comfortable and at home. A quintessential San Franciscan abode.

Noe Valley is one of the safest, prettiest, (and priciest!) neighborhoods in San Francisco. Great for business travelers or families who want to be close to downtown and all that SF has to offer, but in a "village" within the city away from the craziness.

Skylights and high ceilings abound with views of rolling San Francisco hills. Spacious, 3 levels. Great views, tranquil terraced backyard that lights up at night. Just steps to public transportation and a quick walk to cafes, restaurants, parks, all of Noe Valley's best. Walk to the farmer's market on 24th st. Walk to the trendy Mission District, only 15 to 20 minutes to all of San Francisco's best spots.

Pay less than the price of high end hotel rooms and get a gorgeous, modern, light-filled San Francisco home with comfortable space for up to 8.
Watch the city lights sparkle as the fog rolls in over the hills in the distance. Wake up to watch the sun rise over the bay and the charming neighborhood.

High ceilings with skylights abound. 3 levels. A cozy side patio space, a balcony and expansive back deck with great city views. Bright front office with desk (also a private 4th bedroom if needed), a 'music room' (with guitar and bongo drums included!), a living room with high ceilings and a 54" flat screen TV.

2 full bedrooms downstairs. The master bedroom upstairs is an oasis - a cozy private balcony with great views of the southern parts of San Francisco and the bay. It also has a jacuzzi tub and separate shower in its private bathroom.

Full kitchen, great for cooking a family or group meal.

The multi-terraced backyard is fantastic for hanging out or entertaining. We've put up bright lights over the deck, with lighting to capture the beauty of 100 year old cypress trees creating a canopy.

In addition to 3 full bedrooms, the private office as a 4th bedroom, the 'music room'/living can be used as an additional sleeping area. The 'music room' sofa has a pull out mattress, and a queen sized air mattress or double fold out futon is available for the office.

Beautiful View. Great location!

This is our second time staying here. The house is wonderfully located in Noe Valley and right next to a major bus line with easy access to the city. The master bedroom has a beautiful view! Marc is a very nice and attentive host. We look forward to returning!

The house was dirty with cobwebs inside the house. Also, there were fixed holes in the ceiling in the living room. The host was very nice when I let him know that the house was dirty. He stated that was because he let us in two hours early, however the house was filthy, and was not cleaned prior to our arrival

Classic SF home for a classic SF experience!

This property was exactly what I was seeking for our family vacation, a classic SF Victorian home. With rooms on 3 floors we (my husband and me, 21-year-old and boyfriend, 16-year-old) all had our own sleeping space and privacy. The main floor has common areas (including a "Fun Room") where we gathered to eat, play games and watch TV together. Noe Valley is a quiet neighborhood, with shops and restaurants a short walk down the hill. Public transport is at the corner (tip: buy a Muni Pass for $5 a day for the trips back up the hill, as well as all over town). Mark is a wonderful host, making us feel welcome and quickly responding to questions. We loved our stay here!

Urban part of SF vacation

Owner was very helpful. Property was nice and fun. We loved the Fun room with guitars and music. Views were terrific. Backyard deck was nice but could use some upgrades. A working fire pit would be a great upgrade. I would recommend the property for those who want to experience a SF city experience.

Noe Valley Delight

The property served well our family group of four adults and two children (9 and 11). The home has great daylight and views of the city and distant looks at the Bay. The dining room area was an excellent gathering place for meals and family activities. A music room added to the space and separation. Kitchen, living room and other amenities contributed to a wonderful overall experience. Yes, the home is on a steep hill, but we managed around the challenge (it is San Francisco, of course). Mark was responsive and easy to work with us. /

Great house, great location, and Mario Cart!

Great views from the backyard. Loved the location and the house, it has a ton of character! The cherry on top was the N64 with Mario Cart and Golden Eye!

Beautiful property, well kept and clean. Highly suggest you take a look at this home. Plenty of room to relax, work, serve dinner and everything else you might need! Above all else there was a Nintendo 64 with Golden Eye! Thanks Mark for sharing your home!

Lovely house, very steep road!

Very comfortable house, though the ground floor rooms felt a little detached from the main house. The living area and main bedroom was delightful. Also, the house is on an extremely steep hill, I mean really steep so do be aware.

A Great Way to see SF

Mark is a gracious host and his home is spacious, comfortable, and full of light and magnificent views! The back deck also provides a great place to take an afternoon break. It is a short walk from the house into the heart of Noe Valley and the Castro and transit is close by; you can take the 24 bus back up the hill. This was a wonderful place for our family to stay as we explored San Francisco. We look forward to coming back. Thanks!

Clean, nicely decorated, good host

Mark was a very accommodating host. His home is clean and well-stocked. The decor is modern yet warm and inviting. The view from the terrace, especially at night, is gorgeous. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. Note that the street is very steep so caution is needed when parking and unpacking you car. Authentic San Francisco.

Definitely return, but would pack a leaf blower.

Very nice house. Comfortable and spacious. Very clean. Great location. Only reason for a four star is the back yard and decks areas would be very nice to use if they weren’t covered In leaves and debris. Was told the yard guy did no show up.

Lovely house in a residential area of San Francisco

Well equipped and comfortable house. You feel at home! Noe Valley is a nice area with restaurants and cafes. Steep road, not recommended for disabled people but the parking is easy.

Great Location and Quiet Neighborhood

Awesome!

My husband and I spent 10 days in this wonderful house with our two children. It was spacious and filled with light. Plenty of room for us all, and it was so nice to have a kitchen, outside deck, 3 bedrooms and 2 living rooms compared to staying in a hotel. The owner Mark was a pleasure to work with and answered all of our questions promptly. We rented a car for our visit and never had any problems finding on-street parking close to the house. The location was great -- safe with beautiful views, lots of playgrounds nearby, and plenty of shops and restaurants on nearby 24th St. We highly recommend this house and would happily stay there again on a future visit!

Would stay again!

The house is clean, with plenty of light, open spaces for six adults to relax and interact in comfortably. Love the location: just a short walk away from 24th Street's wonderful shops, bakeries, restaurants. The area is quiet, there are beautiful views from the back patio and a few rooms - we could see the water, the fog roll in and the sun beam - all in a span of five minutes! The owner was uber responsive and accommodating; we had a wonderful stay!

Modern bright home with AMAZING views in a fantastic neighborhood

It's all in the title really. The house was amazing. Very modern, bright and airy with great facilities, view and location. Couldn't fault that place at all and the owner was incredibly responsive and friendly to deal with. The only downside was that I had to hand the house back!

Comfort with a San Francisco Feeling

This home was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. It was a pleasure to work with our host and the house exceeded its description in meeting our needs. The layout of the house was perfect for allowing space for our whole family to gather and yet give private spaces too. The outdoor space was a wonderful bonus because the weather was extraordinary. Comfort with a San Francisco Feeling

This modern Victorian home was clean, well-maintained and very comfortable. Combining our North Carolina family and our resident San Francisco family, this house gave us great space to gather and gave us private spaces as well. The weather was great so the outside area was a real bonus! The location was convenient to all the sights we wanted to see. The owner was a pleasure to work with and I will recommend this property to any friend or relative visiting San Francisco.

superb spot for day trips in san fran area

The house was in a perfect neighbourhood location with easy access to rail and bus transportation downtown and the embarcadero. The best aspect of the location was the 10 minute walk to 24th street which has a great vibe and tons of superb restaurants. The house itself was clean, funky and had lots of space over 3 floors plus a lovely back patio area. I would highly recommend this property.

Zen Noe Valley is beautiful and convenient

Before we arrived the owner, Mark provided immediate assistance with information and details regarding his home. He was very pleasant and welcoming which added to the wonderful experience of vacationing in San Francisco. The layout of the home was perfect! We had ample room and privacy. Not to mention the view from the master suite, unbelievable. I woke up to birds singing and a beautiful sunrise every morning. The Zen backyard/deck was a perfect place to sit and chat with friends and it offered a great place to meditate or to cook on the grill. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and every convenience for cooking. This home was immaculate and well furnished. What really made our experience grand, was that the owner had offered us fresh fruit and vegetables that were delivered during our stay (never had that luxury before) which in our opinion was extremely generous. This home is conveniently located and so much so that we didn't mind using public transportation at all. It was very affordable and easy to access. My daughter had a few venues scheduled and the location of Zen Noe Valley helped me to feel relaxed knowing that she would be safe and close by. In addition, we were able to visit the city's attractions, the Wharf, Haight and Ashbury, China Town, Groceries Stores , restaurants etc all within 15-20 minutes of each other. I particularly liked that because we surely did not waste time on the road. Such a beautiful city and I appreciate that we were able to view the city lights and architecture right from the second and third floor windows. Amazing! I highly recommend Zen Noe Valley and I will definitely stay here again during my next visit.

I am a San Francisco resident, who returned from LA a few years ago. I grew up in the bay area, so this was a bit of a homecoming. I was a management consultant, worked as a professional actor for a while in hollywood (was in a few shows and commercials), but then went back to school to become a lawyer.
I love travelling, love the outdoors, and all water sports. I'm an aspiring surfer, and very comfortable out in the waves.

I travel quite a bit and stay with my family at times (they live south of san francisco) so I am able to make my home available for rent part of the time.

San Francisco is an amazing, world class city, and I love living here!

Noe Valley is an amazing neighborhood. Very central and easy to commute in and out, yet quiet and serene, with gorgeous homes and a real feeling of community.

I was lucky to get this home - Noe Valley has become one of, if not the most sought after neighborhood in San Francisco. The home is historic, yet modern. It has so much natural light and great space. The kitchen is equipped to let you cook an amazing meal. The backyard is quiet and peaceful, with gorgeous views.

I love my house, and I'm confident you will too :)
