Our spacious guest rooms are beautifully decorated with ample furniture and first class amenities. Beautiful master bedroom suite has your own private cozy reading area. Relax and unwind in the ensuite tub with relaxing jets. Luxury queen mattresses are set up in the master and first guest bedroom, while third guest bedroom has 2 twin mattresses. All beds are furnished with 600 plus thread count linens for your comfort as well as plush comforters and pillows.

The living room is surrounded by tower windows that overlook the village below, as well as stunning ocean views. Enjoy the gas fireplace and exquisite decor from local artists.
Kitchen is fully stocked with modern amenities and appliances.. Dining room overlooks the garden and mountains.

The decks are furnished with beautiful and comfortable patio furniture. Relax and kickback on the deck with a drink and your loved ones while watching the picturesque sunset over the ocean. More of a nature connoisseur? Witness the diverse wildlife that inhabits our wonderful lot, ranging from wild turkeys, deer, and occasionally peacocks. Enjoy bird watching? Come and see the various species of birds that inhabit the surrounding area including eagles, falcons, doves, and amazing hummingbirds.

Walking distance to the famous 'Nit Wit Ridge,'' built in 1928. We are just above West village overlooking Moonstone beach.

Beautiful Victorian Casa

We had a lovely stay. The house and furnishings are beautiful. Nothing was lacking. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and in the garden with the blue jays. Moonstone Beach is very close and worth it to watch the sunset.

Absolutely love everything about our stay! From the location (walking distance to everything youd ever want (including a farmers market); to wonderful house to stay in! It was super clean (I’m a clean freak). It was homey. The owner was super communicative and welcoming. Needless to say we are already planning when we are coming back!

Always a beautiful experience!

Staying at the Victorian Castle is always a pleasure. The decks are peaceful and have great forest views and occasional visits from local turkey and deer. The house itself is well appointed and cozy, and it’s a perfect location to walk into West Village. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Cambria!

Magical retreat!

The house was beautiful, impeccably clean and had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It was filled with little private nooks and spaces for groups to gather. Bally the host was very quick to respond and pleasant. Would love to stay here again!

Unique House

Casa Victorian is a a very unique house in a cool location. Bally is an excellent host, and the home is well-appointed. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived, which was a really nice touch. It's so nice to be able to take a short walk into town or to Moonstone Beach. We really enjoyed our stay!

Excellent Property With Gorgeous Settings

My family and I were at Bally’s property for 5 days. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and it felt like a home away from home. The house was set-up with festive spirit and was so close to all the beautiful beaches and we enjoyed spending our mornings and afternoons there whilst being cozy within the property at night time. Would highly recommend a stay here and we will be coming back for sure in Spring/Summer to enjoy what is on offer within this beach town!

Incredible house in perfect location!

This house was beautiful and clean. We loved the location to be able to walk downtown. I would highly recommend this house and this town to anyone on the west coast! My only issue was that the listing said there was laundry, but once looking closer, it was referring to off site laundry mat near by. I felt the way it was listed was misleading. There is not laundry available at the house.

One of the best

This property is one of the best we have stayed at in over 20 years of using VRBO virtually every summer. The house itself is very comfortable, well appointed and full of a wide range of art and books. We really enjoyed the privacy that this property affords, as you the lot size is large and you have no immediate neighbors. Maximum advantage has been taken of the lot with extensive and lovely tree-shaded outdoor decks. This is a primo rental and good value.

Quiet and restful

Great property! Loved the historic house and decor. Could use a cobweb sweeping. Had a little issue with checkin as the key was not left out. Once owner responded found out the cleaning crew had not yet cleaned. We let them clean while we relaxed on the deck. Over all nice.

One of Cambria's Finest!! It does not get much better than this!

We are fellow VRBO owners and a bit picky when it comes to what home we chose to vacation. This home is not only gorgeous, and well appointed, the location to downtown Cambria is perfect. Just a short 1.5 block walk to downtown shops, and 10 minutes to the beach, you could not ask for a better location. It was 12 minute drive for our Hearst Castle visit. The home is absolutely beautiful and the owners and caretakers are courteous and very gracious. The outdoor multi level deck is beautiful and relaxing, as well as the deck just off the main entry, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or watch the sun set. All amenities for cooking, WiFi, Television, VERY COMFORTABLE beds, the list goes on. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back again soon!

Almost Heaven!!!

I cannot say enough about how thoughtful and how wonderful this place is. This was our 34th year venturing out and finding a nice place to spend a long weekend. This is at least, in the top 3. A lot of places have thrift store furniture. This place had top drawer furniture, the beds were so comfortable, we all slept late (something we NEVER do), the living room had all new leather sofas and loveseats, the kitchen was very nicely done, the flooring was new and beautiful. We most definitely, WILL be returning! Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!

The house was very nice, comfortable and a great location.

The kitchen was well appointed, but the coffee pot took forever to brew and then was luke warm...we microwaved to warm up. The fold out single beds were very comfortable...but we couldn't find extra sheets. Each bathroom had just one roll of toilet paper and no Kleenex. With five women, we barely had enough...got down to 4 squares and glad we had Kleenex in our car to use!!! Maybe just an oversight by the cleaning service. Great weather, great time celebrating our 65th birthday's!!!

Management was rude second floor guest shower leaked

Management accused us of to many people and that she was coming to do a head count. The shower leaked on to the main floor cameras everywhere felt like we had no privacy had that feeling like we were being watched lights flickered all the time wouldn’t recommend that house to anyone

It's a Home Away from Home

My girlfriends and I really wanted to get away from the stresses of every day life. We wanted to go to a quiet city with great wine, as well as visit Hearst Castle. This was a perfect choice for us! Not only are you about a mile away from the beach, but you can wake up in the morning and have coffee, sitting on the deck watching the ocean. The city was quiet and we were definitely able to catch up on our much needed sleep. Nit Wit Ridge is literally a 1 minute walk up the street and was really interesting to see. Heart Castle was only a 10 minute drive, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The scenary is just so majestic and relaxing. In addition, the main street is less than 5 minutes walking distance. We window shopped, wine tasted, and had plenty of time to collect shells and make dinner. The owners were more than accomodating. We literally had everything we needed. They were absolutely wonderful hosts and I would recommend this place to anyone!!! We would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your property - Teresa Rivera

Magnificent Victorian Castle

We delighted in the beautiful view and sunsets from the tower, which I painted in watercolor. Art objects in the house were inspirational. The quality cooking utensils helped with meals, keeping us within budget.

Central Coast was discovered in 80's while I was beach combing with my boys near Morro Bay and after that it became the favorite vacation spot......until now we are still discovering the beautiful coastline.

Lots of things to do in the village! Attend local BBQ's, the Farmer's market, art shows and exhibitions, music festivals and many other local coastal events.

Want to go the beach? Enjoy the short walk to Moonstone Beach and experience Cambria's magnificent public park and hills. The house is close to miles of rugged coastline and is a beachcomber's paradise. The beaches are covered with tiny, smooth semiprecious stones and there are tide pools overflowing with marine life. Take a walk on the wonderful boardwalk or just go barefoot in the sand.
