Great stay in spite of rough start

When we arrived there were 2 trash cans of garbage outside that needed to be cleaned up. Also, there was a problem with the water which turned out to be caused by no one occupying the house and running the water for over a week. We needed to run the water to empty the hot water tank twice, and clean out the faucet filters of sand, which cleared up the water. Once these issues were resolved, we had a comfortable stay. The property manager responded quickly, and the house was clean. I believe the only problem was no one had checked on the property before we arrived. We stayed at the same place last year and returned because the location is great for us (bike trail is close, paddling close by) and the property was well maintained. We would not hesitate to return despite the initial problems we had this stay.

Relaxing week at Lake Colby

While the exterior of the cabin may suggest a rustic theme, the interior is clean, contemporary and well- appointed. Two bedrooms anchor the linear design at either end. The living room has comfortable seating for 4. The kitchen has dinner settings for 4, a DW, microwave and a complement of cookware. The bathroom has a stacked WD. Our week in Saranac Lake

Cozy, very clean little cabin on the edge of town. Private location; Host very responsive. We loved location as we could walk into town easily, and rail trail nearby. Some road noise, but to be expected near village. We loved it!

Lake Colby Cabin

Enjoyed the rental - water temperature was a little too hot (needs to be lowered especially since hot/cold shower handle has reverse plumbing).

Cute Cabin!

We wanted to be near Lake Colby and Saranac Lake. This is a great location foor that and we had good lake access by the public beach. Perfect for two people. The cabin is pretty new, very clean.
