Will never book with this host again
I booked this property because it was close to our family members in Glendale. To start off we received a message from the host an hour before landing that the property was “flooded” and that the only thing she could do was give us another property. The original property we had booked was a one bed room apartment in Glendale and she moved us to a studio apartment in Hollywood. When we arrived at the studio it was in an old building in the third floor. To start off the elevator is so old that it felt like we were going to get stuck. Once we were inside the studio there was only one bed and a old sofa bed. Keep in mind it’s myself, my husband, and three kids. When renting a property you would expect for the host to leave the things necessary for your stay. Well the host didn’t even leave toilet paper inside the restroom! Within few mins inside the property we noticed the ac wasn’t working properly, it felt extremely hot! It felt cooler outside than inside. We contacted the host to let her know what was going on and she wouldn’t reply our messages or answer our calls. And when she did all she said was if we knew how to work the thermostat. We asked her if we could get a refund for part of our stay so we could book something else since we had two infants with us and we couldn’t have them stay there under those conditions well till this day we haven’t gotten a response.Over all this was the worst experience we’ve had! Never book with this host! Zero stars!
