The Space:
Inside and out, Quails Nest is a treasure! This luxury home offers all the amenities you need to ensure you and your pets have an amazing stay!

As mentioned, this property is a pet-friendly property and does require a $50 pet fee if you plan on bringing your furry friends. Pet Policy: 2 pet limit! Pets MUST be let out BEYOND the patio to relieve themselves. Do not leave them unattended on the back porch to do their business. Guests will be charged for any pet messes on the pack porch. Pets are not allowed to be unattended in the home at any time, no exceptions. If you are going to leave them, a crate must be used (there is one provided for you if needed). Please understand and respect our policy.

The living room offers plenty of seating, comfortable couches, a large TV, and a beautiful fireplace. It is open to the dining area and kitchen which makes gathering together easy and convenient. *Please note, the rug in the living room is taped down and should not be moved. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MOVE THE RUG. Thank you.

The kitchen features brand new appliances, a farmhouse-style sink, plenty of cabinets, counter seating for 2, dining table with seating for 4 (table expands to seat 6, with additional chairs available), and all the cookware and utensils you need to whip up your favorite meals.

The laundry room is located just off the 2 car garage (accessible to guests through the house) and features a full sized washer and dryer as well as an indoor dog wash which you will be happy to have after a day of hiking and exploring in the red hills of Southern Utah!

In the Primary Bedroom you will find a King sized bed, a large walk-in closet, a spacious ensuite bathroom with dual vanities and a shower, and private access to the back patio. The private hot tub is right outside your door!

Bedroom 2 features a Queen sized bed, closet, night tables, and access to a Jack-and-Jill bathroom that is shared with Bedroom 3.

Bedroom 3 features a Queen sized bed, closet, night tables, and access to a Jack-and-Jill bathroom that is shared with Bedroom 2.

Bathroom 2 is full bathroom that is connected to both Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3 (Jack-and-Jill).

Another half bathroom is conveniently located between the living room and kitchen.

The 2 car garage is available for guest use and must be accessed from inside the house (no garage door code will be given).

Quails nest is comfortable and convenient, but if you'd rather be outside... we can't blame you! Step onto the back patio and enjoy the view of the beautiful red rock plateaus while your pets run free in the large (and fully fenced in) backyard. Note-- this property has a 2 dog limit. It's the perfect place to start your day with a cup of coffee or wind down after a day of exploration with a drink. Grill dinner on the gas BBQ, sit around the fire table, or soak in the private hot tub and enjoy the starry skies of Southern Utah!

Guest Access:
Our guests will have full access to the home, 2 car garage, patios and backyard. A door code will be given prior to check in for easy and convenient access.

The Neighborhood:
Quails Nest is in the very quiet, beautiful subdivision of Cedar Heights, nestled near the red rock cliffs.

There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.

Equestrian and biking trails are also available.

Getting Around:
This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon.

Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.

Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.

There is a dog blanket that fits over the sofa to protect the furniture from pet use. It is located in the master closet. It is a gray and white checkered pattern. Please use it to cover the couch if you have furry 4-legged family members with you! Thank you!

When using the hot tub, please secure the cover using the metal clip and instructions provided here, in the photos, and in the welcome binder. This is to ensure that the cover doesn't fall down unexpectedly and break. 1) when you lift the cover, the metal arm will be at a 90 degree angle. Remove the clip from it's position and insert it at the corner of the brace (refer to photos). Thank you!

Kanab is situated in the "Grand Circle" area and known as the "Hub of the Parks", centrally located among Zion National Park (30 miles), Bryce Canyon National Park (77 miles), the Grand Canyon (North Rim - 80 miles). You can also visit Pipe Springs National Monument (21 miles), the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (15 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (20 miles), Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area (75 miles), the "Wave"/Paria Wilderness (50 miles), Horseshoe Bend (77 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (65 miles) and so much more. Please note mileage is approximate and may vary by a few miles.
