Had a very relaxing time at this cabin. Everything was as described on listing. Very clean and excellent location. Very comfortable sitting by the fireplace after skiing Okemo all day! Would definitely stay here again! Nice and secluded but yet close to the mountain and stores if needed!
House was great. Smaller than It seemed in the pic’s… but totally fine and 2 full bathrooms were a huge plus! It was nice and clean! Fireplace was great too and we used both nights. The basement was mostly unfinished and allowed a great space to leave all our gear. The only thing I would mention is that the upstairs is much tighter than it looks with low ceilings. Our three boys, all over 5’9 hit their heads multiple times on the stairway up and in the room… so worth reminding them to duck! Otherwise… great stay and would def go back!
Kim is an excellent communicator.
The cabin was perfect for the two of us. It had all the amenities we needed to have all our meals at ‘home’. Lake Pauline is clean and we used the sturdy canoe fishing each day. We chatted with those in kayaks, SUPs and sitting on the shore without interruptions from motorized craft.
Vermont Rt 100 is near so we often heard loud motorcycles but this would not be an issue in ski season.
Enjoy!
The cabin was beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Our stay was very comfy and relaxing and we were able, to not only enjoy the beautiful lake and kayaking (water was warm and clean, kayaking was great even for our kids and elderly parents) we were able to enjoy nearby spots. One thing we missed in the listing that might help others to know, the second bathroom is on the bottom floor (basement area) and for elderly or handicap persons this can be a challenge. We were a group of 6 so we did appreciated the second bath. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful log cabin.
We stayed here for a trip to Okemo. Only a 5-10 minute drive to the mountain and dining options in Ludlow. Two people in our group didn’t ski but they enjoyed relaxing at the cabin. It was cute and cozy. The property was clean and had all the basic necessities. The host was very easy to communicate with through the entire process. Would definitely stay there again!
We had an amazing stay at Kim's log cabin home. The bedrooms were cozy with comfortable beds, the kitchen was very well stocked with all the appliances, pots, pans, spices and condiments you needed to make a nice meal. The house has been completely renovated and is water front. We loved walking up to the lovely calm lake in the morning and the neighborhood was so quiet. The house is so close to Jackson Gore that we will definitely rent the home again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Perfect stay! Would book again. Cute, intimate cabin. Super close to Jackson Gore and the mountain. Beautiful, private grounds on a dead end street. Property was well appointed, everything you need. Very clean and comfy. There is no dishwasher so bring your own disposable plates/cups for convenience. The fireplace was nice to cozy up to - though we never could get it to a full roar for some reason. Our trip companion mentioned one of the beds was not firm enough for him and there was no use of the dresser due to every drawer having owner's clothes - minor issue - but otherwise, everything was excellent.
Perfect cabin less than 5 minutes from Jackson Gore skiing. Exactly as advertised. Very clean and well stocked with necessities and fire wood. Would come back again.
Our stay was great! Very nice cabin on the water with wood burning fireplace, fire pit, gas grill, and everything else you need for a pleasant get a way!
Very nice cabin for comfortable stay while enjoying daytime outings in the surrounding area. Easy location to access and everything as noted in listing.

The stay was very nice. It was smaller than I had thought, but it worked out. Unfortunately, with the flood happening in July there wasn’t as much going on around in the town. That’s understandable. The hosts were very nice! Thanks for everything.
Our family stayed at the cabin for a week we had a great time.It was cozy, clean, and easy access to everything we were looking to do. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful respite from every day life.
Was nice and clean. Very enjoyable stay. Came to Vermont to bury my husband's ashes. Staying at the cabin made a sad time enjoyable for our grandchildren.
Five adults and three teenagers enjoyed staying at the Lake Pauline Waterfront! The view from the porch was beautiful and we loved sitting by the fireplace at the end of the day. The property was well stocked with everything and all you need to do is bring food to eat. Being 2 miles from Jackson Gore was a bonus!
We enjoyed our six day stay near Okemo mountain. A very short drive to the mountain, cozy house, has everything one might need. Kids had a blast in their own bedroom upstairs, adults loved a chance to unwind after skiing with Netflix and scrabble.

The Shepherd Family - Russ & Kim, Alex, Erin
Our family has always loved Vermont - the mountains, the lakes & the people! We enjoy skiing, hiking, swimming, kayaking & fishing! We reside full-time in Northborough, Massachusetts but you can find us at our cabin almost weekly, enjoying it & improving it!
Why they chose this property
We searched long and hard to find what we think is the perfect location for a year-round vacation home in Vermont - on a lake, close to skiing & close to downtown - but yet still felt like you were remote. We think that this little log cabin on Lake Pauline is the perfect location for a get-away!
What makes this property unique
This is a year-round, water-front cabin, in a lake-side community, on a dead-end road. On-site swimming, canoeing, kayaking & fishing; and, just 2 miles to Okemo Mountain/Jackson Gore, 3.5 miles to Okemo Base Lodge.
