Meet, Whoa Nelly! The perfect little haven for your adventures atop Lookout Mountain, Georgia! This unique private hideaway offers quick & easy access to all the attractions the area has to offer. Please Note: NO KITCHEN SINK! Whether you enjoy horseback riding, hiking, biking, fishing, or golfing there is lots to do & great places to eat close by. Cloudland Canyon is 5 min. away & McLemore Cloudland Resort is 11 min. away. Plan your ideal itinerary, enjoy breathtaking views, and be cozy at Whoa Nelly!

The Space - This is a SMALL, private one-bedroom, one-bath, cabin-like haven. The unit is detached from the main house where your hosts reside and it features a separate, private entrance. It does not have a kitchen but a fully equipped kitchenette. Please note that there is NO KITCHEN SINK so if you plan to do some light cooking and are comfortable washing dishes in the bathroom sink then this is the place for you! It features a queen-size firm tempur-pedic mattress.

The kitchenette has a tall mini fridge, microwave, regular drip coffee maker, Keurig machine, and all supplies needed for light cooking in a small air fryer or over a single induction electric cooktop.

Guest parking is right in front of the garage and in the back there is a nice view of the woods, a gas grill, and a swinging bench at your disposal. Little Nelly is less than 200 square feet. She is cozy, quiet, and peaceful.

Woodsy cottage

Pretty area and exactly what we needed for attending a wedding in the area:) there’s also a nice bench area outside and grilling capabilities (we didn’t have a need for that). Our host kindly provided snacks and water in the room as well.

Wonderful and peaceful stay!

The getaway is in a peaceful area. I enjoyed the accommodations and the atmosphere fitting if you want to visit Cloudland Canyon or other scenic places! The space is small but the layout is brilliant since the pace wasn’t an issue. I check in during off season so the price we paid for a nice small cabin feel was well worth it unlike if you check in a cabin or an inn. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway with your SO or with a good friend!

Tiny Treaure!

This one bedroom/one bath venue was perfect for what we needed. The decor was so cute! Most importantly it was clean and close to everything. The host really put time into the accommodations, and the added snacks and drinks were icing on the cake. I will definitely keep this place in mind and stay here again when needing a place in this area! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
