Amazing family property!

This was an amazing home! Had a fun stay in this spacious, elegant home. Will definitely recommend and look forward to staying here next time i come back to Iowa!

Spacious Des Moines / Ankeny VRBO

Came in with grown /married children for sons wedding. Good location easy to get to quiet neighborhood. Newly remodeled older home. If you don’t mind squeaking floors when you walk, this is great five bedroom with lots of beds and space. Nice covered parking spot. Great backyard.

Perfect house for our needs

This house was great for our large group of 13 between the two families. There was plenty of space for the teenagers to spread out and not bother us adults from our conversations. The backyard is huge, but because of the cooler weather we didnglt get to enjoy it. If i couls complain about anything it would be that the beds were too fiem for our liking, but we were only there for two nights so they were ok. Overall its a great house for vrbo.

We will come again!

We stayed at this property for a church conference. We were only here one night, but it met our needs perfectly. Our group of 11 all had room to hang out in the kitchen together and slept comfortably. There was only hardly any toilet paper in the house, so had we spent much more time there that could have been a problem. Otherwise everything was great!

State fair trip

Lots of rooms and spaces for people to be in. Could use a set of mixing bowls but otherwise beds, linens and towels were great. We will stay there again when go to the fair.

AAU Basketball Stay

Three mothers and their sons appreciated the availability of rooms and beds for everyone. However, communication with the owner was lacking. On the second night, the fire alarm went off around 1:45 AM. Although there was no fire, attempts to contact the owner went unanswered until 7:51 AM. The owner implied that smoking may have triggered the alarm, despite none of the guests being smokers; it turned out to be a malfunctioning alarm in the master bedroom. Requested a discount for the inconvenience and lack of communication and when they did even asked if we were sure no one was smoking. I do not appreciate being "blamed" for them going off when we were sound asleep.The boys enjoyed the ping pong table and the small upstairs space, as well as watching TV in the living room. Upon arrival, there was a noticeable musty odor, maybe due to being an older, renovated house. The property featured new kitchen and laundry appliances, updated bathrooms, and new flooring throughout. However, a fresh coat of paint would improve the appearance, as there were multiple marks on the walls. Additionally, carpet runners concealed some issues with the laminate flooring. Although there were ants present, the owner had bait traps set out. The beds were comfortable, but the owner should inspect the bathroom towels, as one had mascara stains. I would likely not choose to stay here again during a basketball tournament due to communication and location.
