Named after a barge brought in from New York to help with a local project, this Breakwater Inn cottage offers a peaceful landing pad for coastal PNW adventure! Within walking distance of the waves, start your morning with a walk on the sand. Continue to fill your day with visits to Twin Harbors State Park, Westport Light State Park, and all of Grayland's locally-owned restaurants and shops.

Back at Mastodon Cottage, relax and unwind amidst the nautical ambiance while streaming your favorite TV show or movie. When you aren't hanging out here, the private balcony offers an idyllic spot to dine alfresco and simply enjoy each other's company. When you get hungry, the well-equipped kitchenette boasts an oven, microwave, and mini fridge.

As the sun begins to set over the charming coastal scenery, fire up the inn's shared gas grill and host a cookout. A clam cleaning station is even available for those who have fished for their meal! Conclude the evening with marshmallows roasting over the firepit.

The hot tub is available to all guests at the property and is operating on a first come, first serve/available seats basis.

The cottage is not equipped with air-conditioning.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
