The Bocilla Island Club is just the nicest place to stay. 2 heated pools, tennis courts and views of Jug Creek boat traffic. Staying at the end of Pine Island means no traffic to deal with. All around a great place to spend some time.
We rented a boat for two days from Fourwinds Maria which is just right across the bay from Bocilla. Cabbage Key is just a short ride from Bocilla and is listed as the place where Jimmy Buffet wrote Cheese Burger In Paradise. There are nature trails that make you feel like you’re on Gillian’s Island, a restaurant, ice cream parlor and gift shop. North Captiva is a short ride away and is the perfect place to swim. Unfortunately Barnucke Phil’s is no longer there but hopefully another restaurant will replace them. Fishing was fun, sea trout, catfish, cow fish, grunts, snapper and more are plentiful in Pine Island Sound. A short walk away from Bocilla is a wonderful art museum, I bought another watercolor by David Smih and jewelry from the designer of mcKenzie Child. Captain Cons is a little further down from the museum and has the best homemade pies in Florida, it’s also where people come to watch the Sun set on their dock. Ft Myers Beach was an hour away and made for a fun day at the beach, wave running, swimming and there were many shops to buy gifts and beach appeal Boating in Pine Island Sound was everyone’s favorite, 14, 19, 59, and 61 year olds all had a tremendous time.
This place is perfect for folks coming in to go tarpin fishing. The guide can pick us up right at the dock and there’s plenty of great places to eat and relax.
We enjoyed the condo and the beautiful Bocilla Island Club. We liked the pools, our fishing excursion, and took many walks. Local restaurants were good but the local shrimp topped them all. The condo was well furnished and comfortable. Our only suggestion is for new pillows.
We have come to love Pine Island and the Bokeelia area. Rentals in this area are sometimes difficult to locate and we were pleased to find the condo offered by Kathy Prince. The unit at the Island club was perfect for our needs and Kathy was responsive when we had questions. We would definitely rent again if it were to be available during our desired period of time.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo in beautiful Bocilla Island Club, Bokeelia. It is truly an island paradise. The included boat slip is located on Jug Creek with access to Charlotte Sound. We saw many dolphins and sting rays from the 400 ft private pier and we boated to many nearby islands. This is our 3rd time staying at BIC and we look forward to returning next year!

Awesome place in an awesome place
Great little development and a great condo. Clean, well decorated, close to pools, boat, bay, etc. Very laid back place. If you can't relax here, there's a problem. Will be back. Soon, I hope.

Very well kept grounds, lovely flowers and plantings.
Being on an island was a wonderful experience.
The only trouble was getting phone signals, the internet went down, and tv reception was bad. Luckily we enjoyed our quiet time!

Love my family and blessed with wonderful friends!! The sunshine and being on the water is good for the soul. Fishing is good for the mind, it holds your thoughts at the end of a line. When the line starts to sing it makes your heart jump. A fish in the boat, a smile on your face and life takes on a peacefulness that at the end of the day leaves you feeling full. Full of memories, fun and a glow in your cheeks! It is a great family vacation!!
