About this property

Everything that Dewey/Rehoboth Beach has to offer is all within walking distance of this wonderful, large, updated, end-unit town home. The house is just two blocks from the beach (NOT on route 1), one block from the bay and one block from the many bars and restaurants in Dewey Beach. Rehoboth Beach is a 1 mile walk, drive or bike ride. With the home's close proximity to all of the above, you can go back and forth as you please. In addition, since the property is just (and I mean just) over the Dewey Beach line, there's no rental tax!

Kitchen/First Floor
The entire house has been extensively updated in recent years with a first floor and kitchen remodel now complete! The newly remodeled kitchen includes granite countertops, new cabinets and appliances and new flooring (see pictures)! The kitchen also has a fridge/freezer with ice making machine, oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher, crockery & cutlery.

Our oversized living room has a large couch and a pull-out couch (sleeps 2) as well as three cozy chairs. We have a large, flat-screened television on the wall as well as a cozy, wood-burning fireplace for cool evenings. High speed internet is included. The full-size washer and dryer are located in a closet on the main level.

Bedrooms
This home features an oversize master suite with full bath, walk-in closet and flat-screen TV. The master has one king bed and one queen bed (with still plenty of room to get around). The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a double bed and a twin. (In addition, the walk-in closet in the master bedroom has single bunkbeds and a bedside table with still plenty of closet space for clothing. Please note, however, that this is not considered a bedroom and there is no window in that room.)

Deck/Patio
Finally, the home has a newly redone patio where you can sit and relax in the evening after a long day at the beach or golf course. There is a table with seating for 6 and a comfortable lounge chair. There is a full-sized, stand-up charcoal grill as well. There is also an outdoor shower to wash off the sand and sea.

Activities
In addition to the sun and fun on the beach and the bay, Delaware is famous for its tax-free shopping. This house is just 5-10 minutes from Rehoboth's three outlet malls and many other shops and restaurants. Golf is10 minutes away at one of the many golf courses in the area. Some of the best restaurants in the area are only minutes from our home--please ask us for recommendations!

Great house, great location

Quiet and spacious

The house was very clean and the location was great for access to the beach and downtown. It was also set back enough that there was very little noise from cars or Dewey nightlife. The host was very responsive concerning the property and parking.

Great Place!

Stayed for the weekend with family. Property was very homey, comfortable, and clean. Have to cross the highway to get to the beach, but is otherwise in a good location and easy walk to coffee shops restaurants and bars.

Great family stay.

This was our second visit to the area, and it was much better this time because we chose this property. One of its best features is the location, an easy walk to the beach and near local restaurants and shops, but in a quiet neighborhood. The property itself is very nice, will all features and amenities just as advertised. We really enjoyed our stay and found it to be a good value.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a group of 10 who had a great time renting for Memorial Day weekend. It was the perfect location and was accessible to everything including the beach, nightlife and restaurants. We loved using the grill and back porch. It was also great to have two convenient parking spaces right out front. Would highly recommend!

Great place

We enjoyed and had fun during our stay. Thanks to our host who is very nice and friendly. No issues checking in and instructions are straight forward. She helps us find places for activities and recommend restaurants that’s suitable to our liking. Place is very clean with lots of rooms. It’s a nice house and well decorated that makes you feel comfortable and feels like home. The beach, restaurants, and activities are 10-15 minutes walking distance and close to Rehoboth beach as well. The neighborhood is very safe and friendly. Over all, our first experience at Dewey is wonderful with the help of our host. I highly recommend it.

Secluded back porch

We loved many aspects of this property: the back porch felt secluded due to large trees behind the house, the inside was very clean with nice flooring & amenities plus 2 &1/2 baths. Beach chairs & toys were supplied. As an end unit, we also liked the side yard for the dogs. Hope to stay again next year.

Great house!

Awesome house in a convenient location. 3 minute walk to the Starboard, and just 3 blocks to the beach. Plenty of beds, very clean, and great parking options as well. Dewey is notoriously challenged for parking, but there are sections on Swedes you can park on without a permit if you have guests coming down. The owner is very responsive as well. Highly recommended, will be returning next year.

A great pick!

My friends and I had an amazing stay at this house. It was incredibly spacious and more than able to accommodate our group of 8 as well as visitors throughout the week. The kitchen included everything we needed and we really appreciated having the on-site laundry. The beach chairs and umbrella they provided were a wonderful perk as well. The grill was a little on the small side but the rest of the amenities far outweighed this small inconvenience. Located within easy walking distance of the beach as well as all of the bars and restaurants, this turned out to be an ideal vacation home.

Perfect Family Spot

We had a wonderful stay in Dewey! The home was perfect for our family vacation. Lots of space, walking distance to everything you would need, and great amenities. The outdoor shower and access to beach supplies in the home were an added bonus. The beach cart was essential when traveling with a 2 year old and all her gear. We were also able to bring our pups who loved that they could enjoy the beach as well. The home owners were very responsive and answered all my questions. My mom wants to make this an annual family trip now that we’re adding another member and we hope that we can reserve this home every year!

My retirement vacation

My vacation at Dewey beach was awesome. The property was clean, comfort and suit our family to the tee. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our family meals. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and very friendly. We had plenty of parking with our 2 spaces and additional parking off the street. 4th of july

My friends and I rented this place for the week of july 4th and it was great. We knew swedes was in a great location but didn't realize just how good it was. All we had to do was walk outside during the fireworks. It couldn't be any easier. It is very close to the main strip and an easy 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The house is great and a lot more equipped with cleaning supplies, cooking, etc. than we anticipated. Overall we had a great time and would like to rent again.

Gem by the Beach!

Allison’s property is one of the nicest place we have stayed during our vacation travels. Beautifully decorated, very spacious, clean and with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing time. Our favorite part of the house was the deck. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinners outdoors, such a lovely time. The house is just a few minutes walk to the beach- no more than 5 minutes. The location is superb, a few minutes drive to Rehoboth with plenty of activities for the whole family (e.g Funland, mini golf, restaurants, supermarket, shopping). Communication with Allison was easy and welcoming. We will definitely be back to Allison’s property in the future. We loved it!

Perfection!

A group of 10 stayed at this property last weekend. The whole experience, from beginning to end, was pleasant. The landlords sent us clear, comprehensive instructions including the wifi password, address and directions, instructions for parking, and what we needed to pack/what the house included. The house was clean, spacious, and stocked with extra equipment such as extra paper towels, olive oil, beach chairs, laundry detergent, etc. The house was a very close walk to a nice beach and the bars/restaurants of Dewey. We could have not asked for a better location or accommodations. We were all extremely pleased. Next time I return to Dewey, I would definitely like to stay at this property again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Allison's beach rental, and it was truly an exceptional experience! From the moment we booked, Allison's communication was top-notch, ensuring a seamless and stress-free vacation. The well-stocked kitchen was a delightful surprise. Every utensil and appliance we needed was readily available, making it easy for our large family to prepare meals together. It truly felt like a home away from home. Allison's thoughtfulness extended to providing beach gear, including chairs and umbrellas. It was such a relief not having to bring all these items with us. The rental's location was superb and the convenience of nearby amenities and attractions made our stay even more enjoyable. Clean, spacious and stocked.

Awesome place. Three bedrooms upstairs with 2 full baths, large living area on first floor with half bath. Beach chairs, umbrella and wagon for guest use in very good condition. Even though we brought our own paper products, this home had extra of everything. Very clean and well kept. Beds were soft and comfortable with extra blankets and pillows. Home must be well insulated, hardly any outside or inside noise. You will need to bring, shampoo, bath towels and bed linens. Two parking spaces. The host tells you all this in her listing. She is easy to reach and offers solutions should you need something. This was a family vacation for us, we brought a 1 and 2 year old with us, a child gate for the steps, and strollers to get them around. With the babies, it’s a little hike to the beach. Even though this unit is in a decent bay side location, I may have to find something on the beach side until the babies aren’t so needy. Other than that, this place is great and I hope to rent it again someday.

Great Time

We had a FANTASTIC time at this property. Terrific location, great spot with a first time puppy at the beach. College age kids and their friends as well as my husband and I all had plenty of space. Quiet Neighborhood

End of group townhome on a quiet street. All the rooms were clean and tidy. The kitchen and common areas were roomy. The rental was larger than what we needed and would be great for 2 or 3 couples along with children. We appreciate that the hosts allowed our dog to stay for a nominal fee. The rental agreement and check in process was hassle free. Our host contacted us promptly with all the information needed for our stay. We would rent this property again without hesitation! We are a young-ish couple that enjoys being close to the water and away from the concrete of the city! Our favorite things to do in Dewey drinking orange crushes at the Starboard (ok, I can only handle one), riding our bikes through the area, reading a book on the beach, shopping at the outlets and relaxing by the fireplace in the fall evenings!

Why they chose this property

There is nothing like Dewey Beach! Given its small size, everything in Dewey Beach is within walking distance and there is a lot to do contained within a 12 block stretch, including boating on the bay, eating at any number of restaurants, enjoying the bars and waterfront 'watering holes' that Dewey is famous for, relaxing on the beach or taking a long walk through the state park just down the road. Rehoboth Beach is next door offering endless shopping, more restaurants and bars, and entertainment and activities.

I have been vacation at Dewey since I was born. There's something about Dewey that makes me exhale and relax the moment I get there! Dewey takes all your cares away!
