Amazing stay

Wonderful property. Beautifully and thoughtfully appointed. Lots of great little details like hot chocolate mix or a “in case you forgot it” box. Nice location close to beaches and the museum and trails.

Fabulous Cape Cod vacation place

Our family thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Brewster area and beyond—this property is convenient to lots of walking and biking trails as well as all kinds of beaches, including the amazing Brewster flats (Micaran gave many suggestions in her detailed instructions). We also enjoyed chilling at this lovely and comfortable historic house—there is plenty of space and privacy for all. Highly recommend!

Awesome Atmosphere

Enjoyed spending time with friends, reconnecting and celebrating a “bachelorette” at such a cozy and quaint spot. The home was beautifully decorated with a historical and nautical theme, while maintaining modern updates and easy functionality. Everything was well stocked including a coffee and wine sampling. The space allowed us to reminisce and chat while also spreading out to rest and relax. We especially enjoyed the cozy fireplace room!

Hi! After years of vacationing on the Cape with our two children, we bought our first Cape house in 2020 because we LOVE Cape Cod so much. My husband owns a Painting and Contracting business and I love designing and decorating (as a hobby) so we decided to completely renovate it. Since then, we have purchased 6 more Cape cottages and created The Salty Doors by Cape COD Salt Houses! We love creating luxury spaces and experiences for our guests. The Salt Houses are the most magical places. It was important for me to design spaces that I couldn’t wait to stay in as well. Our entire family has been vacationing on the Cape for decades so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions! We hope that you enjoy yourselves as much as we always do!

What makes this property unique

This is a very unique property. Built in the late 1800’s, the historic farmhouse is brought to life with old Cape Cod nautical charm. Formerly known as Michael’s cottages-Now known as, as The Salty Doors!
