The house was just as described. We loved hanging out in the sunroom and seeing the beautiful view. It was a little way away from most shops and restaurants but worth the small drive.
Great house and beautiful property! The house was very clean and in a great location. We loved the pond and trails. The hosts were easy to work with and very responsive!
If you want to spend some quiet time in a secluded location, this is the place to go to. The pond in the back yard added to the beauty. Wish we would have had more time to stay. Definitely would consider booking here again!
Our group of 8 were in town for the kids’ mountain bike race and this home had everything we needed to combine a relaxing time away with the biking race and prep! We particularly enjoyed the full stock kitchen (great to make hearty breakfasts before the big rides!), the grill and 3 season room, and fire pit. All on beautiful grounds in a gorgeous area. Thank you for opening up your home for our group! And thank you for the lovely welcome goodies as well! What a treat!
Great communication with the host. Very responsive and helpful. The host gives you a lot of information about the house and the area. The house is very clean with lots of updates. The kitchen and the pantry are well stocked. Wine and beer in the fridge, too! The living room recliners are very comfortable and the 3 season room was very pleasant though a bit chilly on some days since we were there in early October.
Plenty of room for our group of 4 adults. We loved the easterly backyard view with a pond. Great sunrises when the weather cooperates. On a couple of mornings, we spotted some deer in the yard.
While we had WiFi and cell service at the house itself, it is located in a somewhat remote area and nearby, cell service can be spotty so driving around can be tricky. Be sure to get driving directions from the host or you may end up on the dirt road that most of the popular GPS apps take you to.
Anyway, we would enjoy staying there again!

About the host
Hosted by Jean Dunshie
We have owned the property for 32 years and have enjoyed it with our children, friends and family. So many great memories!! We feel it's time to offer the opportunity to spend time in peace and quiet of nature to others. It's truly a place to unwind and let time slow down.
Why they chose this property
This is a very quiet area, with lots of wildlife wandering through the yard. This was our getaway from the craziness of life. Our children grew up playing in nature, building "forts" and enjoying the outdoors.
What makes this property unique
We are 20 minutes from everything! Canandaigua, Naples, Penn Yann, Wine, Beer and Cheese trails, Bristol Mountain, restaurants, shops, lakes...everything!!
