From our family to yours...we offer you a truly cozy space, thoughtfully designed and supplied for your comfort, while also being wildly convenient to all of the activities and amenities Granby Ranch has to offer! Located at the popular Base Camp One, this unit has a ground floor back patio that walks right out onto the Granby Ranch facilities, steps away from the restaurants, bars, coffee shop, rental facilities, Ranch Hall with gym, pool and hot tub, and of course...the base of the mountain! Perfect for all your skiing, hiking, biking, golfing, boating, or otherwise adventuring needs. This unit is operated and maintained by prompt and personable local residents, and we are ready and willing to help you with any questions you may have!

THE PROPERTY:
This unit is a one bedroom, one bathroom condo on the ground floor of Base Camp One. We are located just down the hall from the elevators, the gathering room, and the ski locker storage room. Our back patio walks right out onto Granby Ranch Lodge with all of its amenities! Our space includes:

* Kitchen: Full size fridge, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, drip coffee maker. Fully stocked with all the basics (including the wine opener!); dining table for 5.
* Laundry: Stackable washer and dryer with enough supplies to get you started.
* Bathroom: Oversize soaking tub/shower combo, toilet, sink. Linens and hairdryer supplied.
* Bedroom #1: Queen Bed, dresser, smart TV, and light-blocking blinds and curtains. Linens supplied.
* Living Room: Pull-out Sofa Bed (Full) and child size ottoman fold-out cot, linens supplied. Smart TV, light-blocking blinds and curtains, stacked stone gas fireplace, leather power recliner.

THINGS TO KNOW:
* Parking: Base Camp One has a heated underground garage that keeps your vehicle safe and dry! There is a strict 1-car per condo policy. Parking pass is located in unit.
* Only two adults fit in our cozy condo. Up to three children 17 and under also allowed (maximum of 5 guests total), but please consider the size of your people compared to our sleeping arrangements to ensure comfort!
* Primary renter for this property must be at least 25 years old. Exceptions will be considered on case-by-case basis, please contact host.
* No A/C in unit (normal for Colorado mountain climates). Ceiling fans, box fans and cool mountain air via open windows available!
* No pets allowed, no exceptions (building policy).
* We are family friendly! Pack-N-Play, compact highchair, and child friendly dining essentials provided. Please note: childproofing not offered. Children must be supervised at all times.
* Pool, hot tub, and gym access available through Granby Ranch resort for an additional fee of $10 per person, per day (credit card only). See attendant in Ranch Hall (next to pool) for details. Renters must present your VRBO reservation confirmation in order to purchase a pass.
* Granby Ranch resort facilities are subject to closures outside of our control. This includes all ski and bike amenities, food establishments, Ranch Hall, pool and hot tub, fire pits, etc. These closures are not subject to refunds. Please call Granby Ranch directly to confirm availability of amenities during your scheduled stay.

Great spot for beginning ski family

This place has some big advantages. First off, the heated garage under the property is a great idea! It was easy to figure out how to get in, and things were labeled pretty well (the book inside needs some updating for wifi codes, but is a valuable source). The location facing the slope and right at the base of the slopes was awesome! It was nice having a fireplace, and the bed was good. The only drawbacks were that the lighting was poor, and some lamps didn't work all the time. It also needed to be vacuumed, and then deep cleaned. Our main purpose was a place to stay, and not be entertained in the room, so it was just fine. Great hosts that were accommodating when the weather looked like we might get snowed in. We will consider this upon a return to Granby Ranch!

Great location

We enjoyed our stay, the location to the ski hill and lodge are worth the extra cost. My one suggestion is to replace the pull out mattress, it was not comfortable as you could feel all the springs. Queen size bed mattress was fine.

Anniversary in Granby

Our stay at this condo was perfect! About a 30 min drive to RMNP which is where we spent the majority of our time during our stay. Perfect size, well kept, and great host! The dishes in the cupboards were absolutely caked with old food most likely from previous guests but that’s our only complaint! No AC, but with box fans in the windows and the temps dropping at night we were always able to keep the condo a comfortable temp. The ski resort was awesome too with a nice restaurant and a cute little coffee shop that we frequented every morning. Would stay here again!!

Lovely Stay

We had a wonderful time at our VRBO. Very clean and accommodating. Great location!! Just 30 minutes from Grand Lake and Winter Park. We walked out the back patio and right over to the heated pool and hot tub. The restaurant on site has great food too!!

Family Reunion

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We liked the ambiance, decor and location of our VRBO. The home needs brighter light especially in the bathroom and a larger and firmer bed. Plus, we know it's a ski getaway, but the lack of air conditioning was a surprise! Luckily the fans and open windows provided relief.

Great location

My 14 year old son and I spent 4 nights and loved the location. Literally, 50 steps to the lift. Easy in and out when you want to ski or take a break. Restaurant is located right next door. When we didn't feel like cooking, we ordered the wood fired pizza 2x which was phenomenal and convenient for take out. The underground parking was so convenient and nice to keep things dry for unpacking and packing. An large elevator and carts to bring your things right to your floor/room. Ski trips are cumbersome, but this location sure made things easy with a heated locker room to store skis and boots. Skied 2 days at Granby which was great conditions and a good place to get your ski legs on. Headed to WinterPark for 1-day which was an easy 25 min drive. Parked in the new G-lot (free parking) which was super easy access to the shuttle. Communication was great with the host. Would definitely stay here again.

Place was clean and modern. Condo is at base of a ski resort. Resort had bike and hiking trails. We were a quick drive to things in Granby. Host was very attentive.

Amazing condo !

This condo was fantastic! So convenient skiing with a family . Whoever wants to rest can walk 30 seconds back and rest . Easy to grab a snack, lunch. The condo was very clean . I am picky about this and it was spotless. All the extra bedding was clean. Appliances were clean. The lockers were a few steps away for storing equipment. Walk to the pool was very easy. We went to the Bluebird Bistro which was excellent and also a very easy walk out the porch door. The condo was stored with spices , TP, dish pods . I know condos don’t come with this but maybe people are buying and Leaving which is nice . We left TP. Washer / dryer was very nice to have. The only downfall is the beds weren’t extremely comfortable and a king would have been nice. If we knew we were coming back to Granby, we would definitely rebook this condo.

10 day escape

So happy to see Granby Ranch get back on track, although 4 weddings in 10 days and resultant loud music til 10 pm got a little old. Loved attending the Rocky Mountain Music Series hosted by resort.

Great Location and condominium

Loved staying at Base Camp One. The unit was furnished lovely and we had everything we needed. We had private parking in the garage. We were there for a wedding off site. My only complaint as there was record breaking heat wave during our stay and the unit did not have AC. We did have fans though and used those. Over all 5 star plus!

Great location!

This condo was perfect for our family. The kids were able to go take a break from skiing in the middle of the day and have lunch. We left snacks on the patio too so you don't even have to take off your boots. The only thing to be aware of is the very early morning wake up if you are a light sleeper! The groomers start working on the mountain by 5am and it is pretty loud. The condo itself, and having a locker, was so convenient and made it a great vacation!

Why they chose this property

Granby, Colorado is a beautiful launching point for so many wonderful mountain adventures! It's remote, yet only a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Denver. Granby Ranch in particular is an amazing location for families, offering activities that are exciting without being TOO exciting, and a community that feels relaxed and laid back, allowing for both the newbies and the experts to have an awesome, stress free vacation!

What makes this property unique

Steaming vanilla oatmilk cappuccino? 30 seconds away. Craft beer or cocktail at the bar (that's sometimes made of snow!)? 30 seconds away. Live music, filet mignon, food truck grub, ski lift, fire pits, equipment rental and repair, snowman building contests, and lift tickets? You guessed it: 30 seconds away.

Unfortunately, the ski school, gym, pool, and hot tub are a bit further...maybe 75 seconds away? It really just depends on how little the legs doing the walking are!

And yet for all its convenience, the space itself is cozy and welcoming, with all the potential of movie nights, hot baths, wine and a flickering fireplace, and a great night's sleep awaiting you. Not to mention, it has all the necessities for a great home away from home, including in-unit laundry and a full-size kitchen!

Standing behind it all is a family who cares about you and your precious vacation time. We know how hard it can be to get away! We will do everything we can to make sure your experience is a great one.
