Disappointed in customer service
Nice house, great location BUT, after stressing about no early check-in, couldn’t even check in on their time! After 16 hours of traveling we were not able to check in at the 4 o’clock check in time. Sat outside in the heat for almost an hour before we finally told the cleaning guy to just leave and let us try to enjoy the house. We then still had to empty the dishwasher and fold the towels in the dryer. He was obviously stressed with the mess that was left from the previous renters and was doing his best, very polite and apologetic. When the rental company was informed all we got was a “sorry about that”. Screens are ripped and flapping in the wind, a few cabinet doors almost fall off when opened, both sinks in the master bath do not work, no working tv remotes for one of the bedrooms, and you cannot adjust fan speeds or work the light on one of the bedroom fans. Also was just told to look for a remote that might work it. The hot tub was clean and nice but also a heads up when the cleaning guy services it would be nice. A strange man just strolled in to clean and check on it without any warning. Liked the house overall and the location was close enough for a walk to the beach which was nice. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean for the most part. Extremely disappointed in the lack of actions and/or any compensation of our concerns by the rental company!
