New Log Home, Rocky Mtn Views, Hot Tub!

Our brand-new log home is the perfect base for your Colorado mountain vacation. You’ll find space for up to ten, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and two living areas. Halfway between the Winter Park ski resort and Grand Lake, the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, you’ll find plenty of outdoor recreation in every season. At the end of the day, get away from it all and relax in the hot tub or on the spacious wrap-around deck and enjoy unparalleled Continental Divide views.

The space
Our secluded home is located at over 9000' in a peaceful mountain neighborhood. It has a spacious wrap-around deck and a wall of picture windows face east with unobstructed views of the Continental Divide, allowing for amazing sunrises, sunsets, and star-gazing.

The house is built of 10" pine logs with custom log accents as well as many other custom features. It includes an indoor gas fireplace for cozy mornings and evenings at the house, a large hot tub, and multiple places for you to hang out and enjoy, indoors and outdoors.

The open floor plan on the main floor of our house includes a fully-stocked kitchen, dining room, and living area with a gas fireplace. There is also a full bathroom and a bedroom with a queen-sized bed.

The open loft area includes a California king bed where you can lounge in bed and enjoy sunrise over the Continental Divide through the massive front windows. There is also another sitting area and a full bathroom on this level.

The walk-out basement has high ceilings and lots of windows, providing plenty of light. It includes a bonus area with ping-pong, air hockey, and a large TV. It also has a full bathroom and two bedrooms (queen and a room with two sets of twin bunks). Laundry is located on this level as well.

We've worked hard on our home and treasure the time that we spend there. We know you'll love it too!

Guest access
Our entire home is available to guests. Self-checkin instructions will be sent 48 hours before your stay.

Other things to note
The house is brand-new. Expect landscaping to be a work in progress this summer. We do not think that this will detract from your stay but if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Cell coverage is intermittent in our neighborhood. We recommend connecting to our Wi-Fi for calling at our house. While our Wi-Fi works for streaming a movie in the evening and light internet usage, this is not in-town internet. You may experience slowdowns when numerous devices are connected at once.

Due to the custom log work, it is not possible to use baby gates on the interior staircases. We welcome families and want you to be safe so please consider this if you have a child at an age where stairs are a concern.

Refunds will not be provide for weather or road-related conditions. Storms are possible any time of the year in the mountains and snow is not uncommon from September thru May. If you are visiting during these months, we highly recommend an AWD or 4-wheel drive vehicle with appropriate tires.

And finally, both of our boys have significant allergies. As a result, we can not host animals of any kind. Thank you for keeping our home safe for them by not bringing animals into our home.

Dream Vacation
This property is essential in having a successful vacation! If you’re planning on visiting winter park, soaking in the hot sulfur springs or winning big at any of the Blackhawk casinos, this IS the property you want to be at. The view from any angle of this property is more mind blowing than words can explain, feels like you are living in a screen saver your whole stay. You may be in the mountains but you are only 10 minutes from any of those much needed creature comforts like a brand new grocery store or any restaurant you’re craving. If you have any issues or questions the property owner will respond to any of your inquiries almost instantly with a solution. To summarize YES!!!! This is the right property to book and this booking will check all the boxes for your perfect mountain get away. Don’t hesitate the chance that what ever property you’re comparing to this one is better is slim to none. BOOK ASAP!!!!!

My family has been skiing at Winter Park for many years but we really fell in love with Grand County during a several month stay there shortly after COVID began. Building our dream mountain home has been a grand adventure and a labor of love. We know you'll love it too!

Why they chose this property

We are a family of skiers and snowboards that spends a lot of time Winter Park resort. In the summer, we enjoy paddle boarding on the lakes, hiking, and biking. Our home's location halfway between Winter Park and Grand Lake provides the best of all worlds in terms of access to the area's many outdoor recreation opportunities. And at the end of the day, we appreciate getting away from it all and relaxing while enjoying expansive mountain views.
