We loved how private this property was. Beautiful views in every direction with a constant breeze, even in August. The home was well-appointed and very clean. The dishes in the kitchen were ready to use - which seems silly to put in a review, but if you frequent short-term rentals, you know how this is almost never the case. We hope to stay again!
My husband and I celebrated our 9th anniversary and we love the hill country. Great location with several wineries nearby. Close to Dripping Springs and Hamilton Pool reserves. The property was beautiful. Even at night with an overcast, it was quiet and pretty overlooking the town lights. We explored the 15 acres. Morning coffee time was quiet and relaxing listening to the birds all over. We will totally stay again.
We had an excellent stay in this house. It was very clean and has a fabulous view. The only thing that needs attention is the cypress bush out by the garbage can should probably be cut down...it is fine if you are in a truck to see oncoming traffic around the curve and down the hill, but not in a car, the bush is blocking the view. Otherwise it was perfect.

Sadly Needs Attention
Great location, but not price-worthy. Had to message owner evening before trip to get arrival instructions. There are smoke alarms, CO2 detector and hair dryer, although these are not listed in posting. Door and window locks secure and indoor and outdoor lighting sufficient. AC, fridge, oven functioning well. Good stock of dishes, eating/cooking utensils and pots/pans. Most inside furniture and linens were clean and comfortable. Bar stools were very wobbly--need repair. Only a skimpy partial roll of paper towels, worn-out kitchen sponges, a single packet of dishwasher detergent and a tablespoon of dish washing liquid were provided for two night stay. Ho hand soap in bath dispenser. Carpets, windows, porches and outdoor furniture need thorough cleaning. Shower curtain dragging through adjacent toilet bowl brush was disgusting and tub drain was gummed-up with slime. Sliding glass door in bedroom is almost impossible to close once open--tracks have shifted? Wood porch and furniture need to be sanded and repainted. Outside stairs need repair to be safe. Several stripped-out drawer and cabinet pulls came off when used--stripped short screws.Washer-dryer unit had chime that went off periodically throughout our stay--never could figure out how to disable. Cedar tree at drive entrance needs to be removed as it obscures westbound traffic speeding over the nearby hill. Blown-over empty trash can in driveway all weekend--pulled it out of the road when the wind blew it there.
