About this property

The High Life lodge is the perfect little cabin get-away for your family. Nothing too fancy, but lots of work and care went into making this cabin special and comfy for our little family, and soon yours. You'll walk in and immediately notice the detailed craftsmanship and appreciation for the timeless. Some of you will want to collapse and relax right away---others might want to hit up the lake to fish or swim by the sandy beach! Either way, there's so much to do.
The kids and us spared no sweat or elbow grease in clearing all the trees by the shore for an AMAZING view! They definitely earned their ice cream while helping out with that! The Sunset and lake view from the deck is just surreal. Wrap up the day with board games or movie night in the cozy living area. We provide popcorn!
Please pack light, as we provide all you need for a great stay, just bring your clothes and groceries, we even include the kayaks!
The lakeview deck includes a propane firepit that makes for an ambient corner to relax and catch up with friends.

Great stay

The property has everything you need to enjoy a well deserved stay on the lake. Whether your alone, with your family, kids or friends theres a room or life vest for everyone. The deck is great, the outdoor space is plenty and the lake is beautiful. Home is well stocked, wifi is strong, and you get a cozy cabin feel. Amongst all the host is fantastic and will respond to any questions or concerns via text. Book with confidence. Please note that the road to the home is a narrow dirt road. Avoid sports cars and trailers.

A lovely getaway with everything you need

This property was such a delight to stay at. The cabin had everything we needed and it was such a beautiful location. The only thing I will note for those who want the pure quiet of nature you can still hear the background hum of the freeway. However otherwise this location will be a delight for couples and familes.

Awesome Cabin!

We had a relaxing stay. Was hot out and I enjoyed the kayak every day and row boat.Cozy and clean with everything we needed here. Just love all the way this cabin is a work of art!!

Quintessential Lake Cabin

I was looking to give our kids the lake cabin experience and this fit it perfectly. Small but cute and cozy. It got warm outside but the ac kept things comfortable. We did bring a few big fans which helped move the cool air back to the bedrooms. The check-in process was smooth. The only issue was the neighbor dog coming over to say hello to our dog, which she didn’t appreciate being the one tied up on a leash. Overall great experience. Recommend bringing your own pillow though.

Father’s Day trip

Booked this cabin for my dads Birthday/Father’s Day weekend trip. We were out on the row boat the whole weekend. Caught tons of fish. We all dad a great time!

Great fishing retreat!

Every year I go on a solo retreat for some "me" time. Peace and quiet, nature, and fishing are what I'm looking for. I just want to head out the door, sit on the dock and fish. This cabin was everything I hoped for and it's exactly what I did. The fishing from the dock was great! Even though there were boats available I didn't use them. I heard and saw tons of birds, which was also a plus. The cabin itself was nice as well. Ceiling fans in every room were a great touch. So far this is my favorite VRBO rental I have stayed at and would definitely come back.

Everything was just like the pics! The cabin was clean and cozy, the amenities were nice and the view was amazing! It was such a relaxing time. We are making this an annual trip!

Quick getaway

Quick four days away for some relaxation and fishing. No need to leave the dock as all the panfish seemed to be gathered there and a few Bass came by for a visit also. Everything we needed was provided and we found a few places for a nice dinner and lunch all within 20 minutes of the cabin.

The cabin is on a beautiful part of the lake. It is very nice and clean. The property manager was amazing and even went out of her way to help me with a problem I had with my personal kayak

Great property and hosts!

Hosts were excellent and the property was just as promised. We caught fish and went out on the lake each day. There are a number of small towns with local shots, bars and antique stores to explore. Would 100% stay again.

Wonderful place on the lake

The pictures don’t do the place justice. The house is on the lakefront with a private dock only a few steps away. At night I could see the Milky Way and the lake was so calm I could see the stars reflecting off of the lakes surface. The owners had boats we could borrow so the kids had tons of fun. The owner was great about communication.
