Updated in Spring 2022. Come and enjoy the wonderful views of this comfortable one bedroom/one bathroom condominium at Marina Del Mar in Oceanside, CA. The bedroom has a king size bed. This being a corner condominium provides you ocean views from every window! Let the ocean sounds and breeze comfort you while you relax inside or go straight to the source with just a few steps to the sand. If you prefer a pool and hot tub,they are at the complex for your convenience. The marina is within walking distance of the complex and offers various shops and restaurants that you can explore and enjoy. Much of what San Diego has to offer is close at hand and when the activities are done for the day, you have a comfortable king size bed to relax on right by the beach.

Marina Del Mar Condominiums overlook miles of sandy beaches that run alongside the picturesque Oceanside Harbor. When you're not enjoying the heated pool and hot tub in the condos there are many other activities, both relaxing and exciting, that the harbor has to offer for people of all ages.
If you're looking for something adventurous check out the water sports rentals across from the shops and restaurants. Here you will be able to rent affordable kayaks, jet skis, pedal boats, stand-up paddleboards, and more! At Helgren's Sports Fishing you can schedule a day trip or an overnight adventure to fish, whale watch, or embark on a harbor excursion. You'll be able to find everything you need for a perfect fishing trip including fuel, equipment, and more.
The harbor is also home to numerous sports bars, restaurants, and cafes of all kinds to ensure your satisfaction. There are several fantastic seafood options to choose from such as Harbor Fish & Chips or Oceanside Broiler. If you prefer a more upscale experience try D'vino, a popular fusion bistro that includes a gelato café and wine bar.
The harbor's inviting village setting is perfect for unwinding with a relaxing stroll through the various gift shops and boutiques where you will find stylish beachwear as well as souvenirs & gifts so you can take a little bit of paradise home with you.
Just a few steps away from the condos lay a long stretch of sand perfect for beach games or volleyball. There are also various tents which offer surf lessons and surfboard rentals for more adventurous vacationers. Families will be pleased to know that this beach has several convenient features such as bathrooms, showers, and lifeguards on duty during peak seasons and hours. The shaded picnic tables and coal barbecue grills are perfect for large or small gatherings after a long day at the beach. You can also end your beach day with a short walk to the Oceanside Pier and grab a fish sandwich from the Tin Fish to enjoy on the beach.
Parking on site is free for 1 vehicle per condo. Guest parking is available in the paid lots and free parking for 72 hours in the parking lot by the Crab Shack. No vehicles over 16ft allowed in the parking area at all. Tall, large and extended pickup trucks or SUV's will need to park off-site.

Quiet Beaches:
Monday - Friday of Jan, Feb, April, May, Sept. There are some events scheduled on weekends during these time so check with management.
No Guest Parking on site from May until June. Only the assigned space may be used for your unit. Extra vehicles need to use paid parking lots or Free Parking area by the Crab Shack.

Q. What if I have an oversized vehicle?
A. No vehicles over 16ft allowed on the property. Oversized vehicles need to pay for overnight parking in the camping area or in the Free Parking by the Crab Shack if available. 72 hours max.
Q. What beach equipment do we need to bring?
A. We suggest you bring your own beach towels, boogie boards, and umbrellas. Some of the units may have these items, but we cannot guarantee they will be available on your arrival.
Q. Are pets allowed?
A. We are sorry, but pets are not allowed in the rental units.
Q. Is smoking allowed?
A. All our units are non-smoking, including the balcony and anywhere in the complex.
Q. Is there air conditioning?
A. Each unit is equipped with either ceiling fans or portable fans to keep the air moving. There is no central or portable air conditioning.

Location location

This property gets accolades for the location, you can’t get much better than ocean front, walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. The building itself is a bit worn. Elevator was out of service entire 3 days we were there. We were on the 3rd floor and could manage the stairs, but I felt very sorry for those who struggled with stairs every day. Entire building needs a refurbish I would say.

The pictures must have been taken when everything was brand new. The bathroom sink was clogged whenever we tried to wash our face. Couches smelled. Eggshell on mattress was old and dirty. Blinds didn’t work properly. Thank goodness the view was beautiful….

Wonderful little condo right next to the beach!

The condo was a perfect size for just my husband and me. We loved the location! Restaurants and shops just around the corner. Nice beach across the street. The pool was warm. The facilities were well maintained. We loved walking along the marina. Close to Ruby's and downtown oceanside. Only 35-45min from San Diego. Had a great time! Can't wait to go back!

Good time, overall

Our first impression was not favorable. There were ants in the kitchen and the bathroom and kitchen were certainly not "deep cleaned" as advertised. But we had brought some supplies and made it work. We killed some ants every day, but the management didn't provide a spray service. The leasing contacts were very friendly and provided good communication. The washer dryer rooms were filthy and you had to download an app to pay for their use. The bed was comfortable and the linens were fine. There was quite a bit of road noise (holiday weekend, I know) because you had to leave the door open for fresh air. Of course, not the fault of the property as it was a heat wave... Parking was sufficient but pretty tight and they warn you not to bring a larger vehicle. We had a good time, but would probably look elsewhere next trip...

Better than advertised

We LOVED the condo. Right on the corner of a small building with incredible views of the sea from both sides. The kitchen totally equipped and the sofa, chairs and bed were so comfortable. It felt like home and was better than any picture or review on the site. Highly recommend this lovely home. We will be back.

Unit was not clean!

One reason for choosing this unit was the notice placed in between the website pictures about the high level of disinfection taking place. While the initial impression was that the unit is clean, it was quite dirty. The main rug under the coffee table had sand and debris, the faucet in bathroom and sink counter had dirt that easily could be cleaned off, the window sills had black dust, the faux wood floors needed mopping (we wet paper towels and wiped areas down and the towels were black), and the light switches had visible dirt on them. The sleeper sofa back cushions had debris and even hair underneath and the decorative pillows had large stains all over them. In addition, there was no bar soap or soft soap in the bathroom and no toilet paper other than the one on the dispenser roll. We brought this to the attention of the property manager Cindy who brought us the supplies and did offer to try and get someone to come clean but we didn't want to be waiting around for that to be happening. I vacuumed the rug and wiped down the other surfaces and we enjoyed the rest of our time there. The sleeper sofa bed was very uncomfortable. We did enjoy the corner unit with the ocean breeze coming in from 2 sides and spent evenings on the balcony eating dinner and watching the sunsets. The kitchen had all we needed for cooking and coffee/coffee maker. If this unit had a deep cleaning and no one needed the sofa bed it would be a wonderful place to stay.

IF you are the type that likes a quiet relaxing place then this is your condo....pictures are exactly as it looks, spotless!!! you can not beat the views! I mean a balcony right on the water....Yes there is construction going on at the complex however the workers and staff are very good not to disturb you..We honestly didnt even notice they were there except in the morning while we were drinking our coffee on the balcony. Cindy met us there as we had a late check-in and showed us the in's and out's of the condo...Plenty of kitchen things you would need if you are planning to cook. restaurants within walking distance, Dominics is delightful! Had lunch there one day and decided to go back for dinner and it was wonderful. the plaza scene is just 4 mins away if you are wanting to find a bar or other restaurants, Target, Walmart and several liquor stores. A must stay if you enjoy nice quiet days and listening to the ocean 24/7!! We will be staying there again.

The booking of the condo went very smoothly.

The booking of the condo went very smoothly. We were excited to find a unit on such short notice. We've been going to Marina Del Mar for over 20 years, always staying at various condos within the complex. We were given a discount because the complex was undergoing some renovations to the exterior. (perfect, we like discounts!) The amount of construction and equipment at the complex however was quite overwhelming. We had zero access to the balcony and there were loud workers right outside our windows at 7 or 8am every morning (with a 1 year old trying to sleep this was a nightmare.) One morning in particular, there was a worker standing on our balcony just staring in at our family. He spoke very loud spanish to his co-worker who would then peer into our condo as well. We were very uncomfortable by this having young kids asleep just a few feet away. The sliding door on the balcony wouldn't lock either making things worse. Luckily the condos were not very busy for it being the middle of January, or parking would have been a nightmare since the construction blocked about half of the usual spaces. I imagine the construction drove some regulars to stay elsewhere this year. Overall, it definitely was not worth the price we paid to stay there that week, even with the discount. They were very upfront about the construction, so that part is on us. We took the gamble because we thought, "how bad could it really be?" Our mistake.The MAIN REASON for my 2-star review however, is how we were treated upon check-out. Let me start off by saying that we were very aware that check-out is listed as 10:00AM. After staying at the same place 20 years in a row you know what check-out day is like. The night before check-out, my wife became very ill from something she ate earlier. With a 1-year old in the bedroom with us, it became the ultimate nightmare situation. We would get the baby back to sleep, and then within an hour my wife was jumping out of bed to make it to the bathroom before throwing up in the room. This would then wake the baby up and round-and-round we went. My wife finally fell asleep around 4:30AM. At 10:30AM, we were awoken to pounding on the front door. I jumped up and instantly knew we had over slept. I hear my 11 year old daughter answer the door and right away I hear an elevated woman's voice telling my daughter we need to get out immediately. I come to the door and the woman is practically yelling telling me we need to be out and that we are going to have to pay a $50 late check-out fee. Before I lose my marbles, I say give us 30-min and slam the door shut. I understand we are past the standard check-out time but good grief. About 30 min later the original agent we booked with called us and was very nice and understanding. Turns out the person yelling was a cleaning lady. Get a life lady! Thanks for leaving that lasting memory on our family vacation. It was very disappointing and may influence if we ever go back.
