This is the perfect getaway for setting out on adventures in this beautiful outdoor area. Enjoy active outdoor activities including boating, fishing and hiking by the lake and the nearby Caney Fork River, or adventure further to Cummins Falls or Burgess Falls state parks, and the Window Cliffs State Natural area where views are breathtaking. When you need a change of pace, explore delightful lakeside restaurants, a local Appalachian Crafts Center, nearby vineyards, and even a farm and creamery where little ones can cuddle baby goats. The family can also set out for a day in the historic town of Cookeville, with all its attractions, only 20 minutes away. Return at the end of your adventures to this charming three-bedroom home that comfortably sleeps 8. Relax on the spacious deck areas in the summertime, or cuddle in the warmth by the fire table on cool evenings. Brilliant views of the lake in the fall and winter, are somewhat hidden by lush foliage in the summertime. Our family has amazing memories of times spent together in this peaceful setting. ACCOMODATIONS
-This beautiful open floor plan includes a main floor with two full bedrooms with queen beds, a full bathroom and a large open kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has all the cookware and dishware needed for creating those wonderful family meals. There is a wood burning fireplace and both a dining table and an island with additional seating. The dining area opens on to a large outdoor deck area that includes a covered and partially screened portion, perfect for Yoga or enjoying your morning coffee. The larger open deck area includes additional seating that includes a large table that seats 6, cushioned love seat and chairs, and wooden benches for enjoying the outdoors.
-The comfortable lofted living area is surrounded by windows overlooking the woods and the lake, and is the perfect place to gather together to enjoy family time – watching your favorite TV shows on the smart TV, playing board games, sitting and reading or just soaking up the moments.
-The lower level includes a third bedroom with bunk beds that sleep four. There is an additional TV area for gaming, a full bathroom, a laundry area with washers and dryers and opens onto a second partially covered deck area with a porch swing and hooks to dry wet belongings.
-There is on-site parking
-This site includes both indoor and outdoor stairwells which are not ADA compliant
-Motorcycles and vehicles with low clearance should use caution approaching on Hurricane Lane. Choose a vehicle with higher clearance if possible.
