Please note:
Please be mindful that you are renting a cabin in the mountains. Most roads are maintained but will be curvy, steep and narrow. There are no streetlights on mountain roads. There are no open flames or fireworks allowed.
We recommend 4 wheel drive and/or snow tire chains during winter months in the event of inclement weather.
No changes or refunds are given due to weather or fearful road conditions as we can't control the weather. We recommend the purchase of travel insurance for all planned vacations, especially in the winter months in case of a weather event that would make roads impassable.
For local road conditions, you can contact State Highway Department (865) 594-5800 or Local (865) 436-5181.
Bears do frequent the area. Be sure to not leave food in vehicles or outdoors. Keep vehicle doors locked and cabin doors closed. Please use the metal trash container located just outside the cabin that is secured. Please watch small children when outdoors due to the wildlife in the mountains.
There might also be ladybugs, carpenter bees, etc. as commonly found in the woods.
We look forward to hosting your family and friends and hope you love our Smoky Mountains as much as we do.
