Such a great place to stay in Iowa City! Plenty of space for the family, multiple rooms for relaxing, playing games, or just visiting. Had a great back patio for enjoying the afternoon sun. The bedrooms are so spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was very well-appointed. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. Walk down to DeLuxe for a baked treat! The owners were easy to communicate with, friendly, and quick to respond. We will definitely stay here again!
This home is a great blend of historic appeal and updated conveniences and comfort. We were concerned about having 1 1/2 baths, but the number and sizes of the bedrooms more than made up for that. The location was great for downtown, campus, and getting to and from CID.
Very enjoyable stay. The property is as described and better than pictured. While the house has retained much of its historic charm, the kitchen and bathrooms have been updated. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and dishes. The beds were comfortable and there were nice linens provided. There was plenty of space for a large group to gather around the huge dining room table and there were also lovely sitting rooms for relaxing. There is a long driveway with space for multiple cars and a patio with a charcoal grill. Although we didn’t use it, there was even charcoal provided for the grill. Would definitely stay here when we return to IC.
